You were working on the same teat. You were lucky you did not get kicked by the cow. You should have been using only one hand to squeeze a teat. The other hand should have been used to squeeze another teat. Besides it is necessary to milk the cow as fast as you can. If the milking is done slowly the milk gets soaked back by the tissue inside the udder.

In fact we too have a farm and Iwould like to know whre you have your farm. Do you milk regularly and what are the newer methods you use in dairying. Kudos to you as you milk with elan and professional finesse which I so far have not been able to do so far. Can you give me some tips as to how to learn to milk productively and artistically.
