The war in Iraq was To take Sadam out of power help the people. Sadam was knowen to use musterd gas on his people his son raped girls and killed them and their family after the military stole and beat people down all the time so i support the War. Dumb hippies should learn. Plus tip no war means more people means over population means mass death and low food so pick one.
the thing is, these protesters kept pushing the limits, the police had them against the sidewalk and they kept pushing back
if they had just done as the officers asked and moved out of the street it would have been a whole lot easier for them
the thing is many of these protesters, deliberately try to provoke the police to get them to do something that they can film and use as evidence of "police britality"
Title VIII alters the definitions of terrorism, It redefined the term "domestic terrorism" to broadly include mass destruction as well as assassination or kidnapping as a terrorist activity. The definition also encompasses activities that are "dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State" and are intended to "intimidate or coerce a civilian population,"
You commit a crime, then get punished...not vice versa.
The police must need pre-emptive judgement and see how it feels. I say circle their stations with signs acusiong them of abuse or the capacity/tendency for abuse. Simply because they are police..and never stop until the reports of abuse from coast to coast stops.. Show them how it feels to be judged, blamed, targeted and harrassed for nothing.
police stations everywhere should be circled in exactly the same way they circle the people. we should hold banners and signs about the constitution and abuse of authority,
.....and protecting war criminals.
Solidarity with the demonstrators who have suffered abuse.
You may ask yourself. Why did the Police start pushing them back? They were just fine where the protestors were at. I mean, have you never watched police before use unneccesary tactics on our citizens. I seen none in this video. But yet we don't know what these same police may have done later. Police have a stigma of abuse with their authority. No one can argue with that. I just watch another video in St. Paul where a policeman sprayed maze in a girls face holding up a flower. That's a disgrace!
Oh, I completely understand but I hope that you're not implying that the St.Paul is an exception when it come's your Police not over stepping their boundaries because of a badge they wear. I'm not familiar with St. Paul having a history of protest like other large cities. But, I'm quite sure that you have news reports of it happening to individuals on the recieving end of police brutality in your city right? Let me send you a video on police brutality.
So because you protest you don't have a job? That's just an ignorant statement.
Also because a few people chose to break windows among other things that means all these people are not peaceful now? Just because a few stop being peaceful doesn't mean they all stop. Don't treat them all as one entity. We're Americans and no matter your opinion you should embrace these peoples right to protest, if you don't then you're the un-American one.
I am so sick of the unAmerican BS. They can protest.. thats fine..I don't have to like it. I have watched for 3 days now...they gather and 9 times out of 10 good things do not come and peace is far from it...a bunch of bitter and angry people..testing the limits.a few chose to break windows a few more tipped over city property and even more attempted to bust through security checkpoints. Its my right to make a general statement in a 500 word limit space as it is theirs to protest (safely)

if you will notice also, the police have no problem with cameras being there, because the police are doing nothing wrong
the police are just doing what they are trained to do,maintain order
there was no police violence there and the woman on the megaphone was just saying that shit just to make it sound like the police were doing something

I wonder how the cops would react if they had a AIDS/ Hepatitis block leading the march. I cant imagine too many cops wanting to bloody them up!

Really I have to walk the streets in St. Paul and they only have done that to those who have been warned and warned and continue to test the limits.
I as well as the rest of my co-workers of a 3,000 employee firm building are glad they are there!

Oh really? as someone who has to work in Downtown St. Paul I disagree...these things get out of control in no time.
How is breaking windows and pushing the limits peaceful???
GIVE EMPLOYMENT A CHANCE! Get a job!
