  • Good evening rich people, and thank you for being so rich :)

  • is it just me or did i here tom bakers voice at the beginning of the video ?

  • LOLOL

  • Lol.....I love Rowan Atkinson.

  • people people relax! enjoy the comedy

  • @LimeClassRules10 ok, so whats Noise Levels? Gain? Color Correction? VSTs?

  • @LimeClassRules10 Wheres your sources?

  • @LimeClassRules10 Woah, what the hell? I was just giving my honest opinion for fuck sakes.

  • @LimeClassRules10 I have to disagree. These look allot like there cameras, they may have even used the old VCR Recorder attachment to create the look. I think these cameras were Kodak. Not sure.

  • 21st April 1964

  • i knew it was not i red tie.

  • It's almost hilarious that he plays mr bean as rowan has such a wonderfully perfect 'posh' (and i hesitate to use that word, as he is not uppity, but his accent is very brittish). Shows his brilliant range. Such a marvelous actor...

  • They used there old cameras!? AWSOME!

  • The photo of Rowan Atkinson is taken in front of Saltburn Pier, Wahay!

  • Oh my goodness, he was so hot here!!!!!!!! I love listening to his voice.

  • Ohhhh sweet

  • "If you were able to see us in colour, you certainly are hallucinating."

I would be hallucinating if I saw this in 1964.

  • It's a grey suit and a red tie.

    ...

No really, it's a GREEN suit and a BLUE tie.

  • then you understand a lot about bean...

  • lol

  • Wibble....

  • I do beg pardon, but to elucidate upon these misconceptions...this skit is not an actual broadcast from the 60's. This is satire of a broadcast, which was actually filmed in 1989.

Indeed, BOTH the "senior" Atkinson and his "nephew", are, in fact, Rowan Atkinson.

And in the spirit of trivia...it was in fact a brown suit, with aa alizarin crimson tie.

    Thank you.

  • you pompous, insufferable gasbag, i love you!

  • rowan looks exactly like his father its kinda freaky

  • Forty848 is joking. Just thought I'd clear the matter up.

Also, Zemers should never engage in conversation with anyone with an average intelligence above that of a shoe.

  • I love the way he says "zany". So funny.

  • lol

God bless Great Britain and the Royal Navy!

  • lol, rich people watching tv.

    youtube!

  • His diction is perfect.

  • ....and another one gone, and another one gone.....

  • I wonder what else he was lying about?

  • i always thought of this actor as mr bean. from abroad i didn't like him at all. mr bean is quite a stupid and boring character. I now found out those video introducing him in different contexts. He is a great artist! What a pity that foreigner do not now this version. what a pity if translated. His humor sounds great in english

  • Lucky for us Dutch we only have subtitles!

His humor (and all other English ones) wouldn't be so good if they were translated.

  • I love Rowan Atkinson! Rowan Atkinson is so good at acting!

  • "£95 Pinds.."

    "Good evening, Rich People."

    So many more funny lines!

  • 95 pounds. not pinds

  • I know that... It's the way he says it.

  • @mmutasim2 Rowan actually says 95 Pynds (p-eye-nds). True brit super-rich pronounciation. I once heard my father's boss actually say "Oh dash it! I'll have to return to the hiyse to change my triysers". (I had to walk away. Money makes it own rules).

  • @Christorix Haha! So money DOES make the world go round....and create new languages! Thanks for correcting me by the way.

  • lol! What show was this from?

  • great upload!

  • wonder if that picture was actually that of Rowan - looks like him, anyway.

  • Makes sense, as he was a kid at the time.

  • erm i take it you're being sarcastic. nice. :/ some people. :sigh:

  • He probably was actually in that role mentioned in the early 60's.

  • he was born in 1955, so he would have been young

  • He, would in fact, have been nine.

  • Hence the photo of himself - and taking his sense of humour into account - most probably taken at around the same time as the intended timeframe of this classic bit of British rewritten history.

  • This was made in 1989. It was then made black and white and made to sound like it was made in 1964.

  • Reginald Atkinson lol

  • my 1st name is reggie, short for reginald :)

  • haha funny

  • Nice symbolism...

    Rowan was lying...

  • Nice
