I have never met, nor have I ever heard of any of these soldiers. But I owe them dearly and I am so thankful for them, their friends and families for the debt paid.

AFGHANISTAN - "I am involved in the land of a 'Leonine' (lion-like) and brave people, where every foot of the ground is like a wall of steel, confronting my soldiers. You have brought only one son into the world, but everyone in this land can be called an Alexander."

Great tribute! I just finished the book - They fought for each other. All I can possibly say is "Thank You" to every single person who serves our country in the armed forces. I truly appreciate the sacrifice that you and your families have made so that we can be free.
This is the Company of Charlie. 1-26 Infantry Unit. There is a book of these guys. there story in iraq and how they feel. written by Kelly Kennedy. A Lady charlie company infantry unit. The book title is
"They Fought for each other"
Shout out to all those that died for our country. and another special thanks to Captain Baka for keeping most of the infantry safe.
I'm in C Co 1-26 currently. Thank you for making this video... sometimes it's easy to forget the sacrifice that others have made so we can sleep at night. I hope these names live on forever.
Also, we are all taught what SPC McGinnis did for his unit back in Iraq in our initial briefings to the unit. Needless to say the room was totally silent.
My son Sgt. Jarrod Taylor was with these men on this mission and earned a Silver Medal of Honor ...I know he struggles every day with these memories..may god in heaven bless these men and the families they left behind...we salute you....
thanks for posting this video, i love this song, it actually influenced what we put on my brothers headstone. It reads, "...and God needed a hero to guard the gates of Heaven"
Your welcome Shawna. I'm glad you liked it. I put my heart and soul into it for all the boys :) The ones I knew and got to know and never got a chance to know!!
To the families of the soldiers lost this day, My prayers go out to you. SPC Daniel Agami was my best friend and was lost among the men on that horrific date. I will never forget him or the soldiers that perished with him on June 21, 2007. Not a day goes by where they are not thought of, and there shall never be one. They made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the ones they love, and to those they never even met. I salute you all Charlie Company 1-26.
Loved the video. There is not a day I go by with thinking fo all of my brothers.
