Mia- YOU are so damn F*#KIN' talented. You don't have to climb the ladder of sucess. You can FLY above it straight to the top- so, please feel FREE to DO SO!
Beautiful thing. All sorts of people playing and enjoying music together. I attended Portland's in 1995 and have fond memories of Pete Seeger and Ellis Paul playing together in a room, while Ferron belted it out down the hall. And many other musicians just having a great time and being kind.
I agree with dereksivers, Folk Alliance wouldn't be what it is with-out the guerrila showcases. Did u film any of the late-late jam sessions? There was some amazing improv happening between 2 and 5 am.
You say "AFTER" the conference, but let's admit : these late-night hotel-room concerts are the main reason everyone comes to Folk Alliance! The daytime stuff is just a formality.
Wow this looks amazing. I would love to go sometimes.
