  • Dude make a palmdale reg.day n nite versions.caalifornia

  • Ok so big question. Is it easy to change views and look at the plane from different angles? I like the way FSX handled changing views and moving around to different angles with the press of a button and a mouse.

  • @soccersport Unfortunately I have never played FSX so I can't really comment on how the two compare in this respect. I've not had any problems looking around, have set one of the four way switches on my joystick to look around the cabin in 3D and holding shift-(1 to 0) take you to different default views which you can zoom in and out and move round with the arrow keys.

    Hope this is some help!

  • Awesome recreation. I'm speechless...

  • So does the default X-PLANE 10 747 come with an excellent FMC, or did you follow the approach based on approach charts? Your a very skilled pilot either way on X-Plane. Fantastic video!

  • @AERODYNAMICMICROSOFT Yes the default 747 does come with a decent FMC although I'm probably not qualified to say whether it is excellent or not. I programmed the FMC based upon the approach charts for this video. Really glad that you liked it!

  • Whats the song?!

  • Liked this one, thanks.

  • Very nice video!

  • love the recreation!

  • Great video! love it.

  • @MrGibbs31 Thank you!

  • Nice recreation. I had been thinking about that video just yesterday and was wondering how X-Plane 10 compared. Playing them side by side (I find starting your 16 seconds prior to the original syncs up the threshold crossing) I realize x-plane 10 could use more color saturation, brighter lights, and greater atmospheric scattering. I wonder if these are tweakable somehow.

  • @farolito74 Thanks! And good spot that they almost sync up at 16 seconds, I was probably flying that part far too slowly. Your right about the lights, they look much better with HDR enabled but they seem much duller, I really only set this for the cars as it make them look better. I had atmospheric scattering turned off so that might improve that but I thought it looked less like the original. I suspect the original might have the colors tweaked a bit already, but not sure.
