In Portugal we also use cucumber and potatoes to make gaspacho (without z) and we don't blend it. We call "Lavadas" (Washed) to that kind of soup only using tomatoes :)

Our oil is also very good and won a substancial number of prices ;)

The name of this soup in Spain is "Salmorejo". Is like Gazpacho but only with tomatoes :)

There were NO tomatoes at the farmer's market last weekend here. It was snowing and then flooding in May, so the tomatoes are not here yet.
