@salisburyguy1 No one owns Sikhism friend. Sikh simply means to be a disciple/student/To Learn. If u wanna be a Sikh/Disciple, then do so without asking anyone because u don't have to. However, Sikhism does not believe in conversion, to be the disciple of the the True Guru, there must be love and devotion in your heart for the True Guru. And without the influence of any "MAN" you will be the Sikh of the SATGURU(True Guru) by yourself, by your choice.
