After it shows that yellow house, it pans right and passes by the hospital. In the game, the hospital was in the bottom left of onett with a dirt road that leads out to the cliffs with a little yellow house overlooking the ocean.

If you watch the video "3D Onett - Earthbound" by the user BennFriedrich you'll see the actual map from the game at the beginning which shows the hospital exactly where i said it was. You can even see the start of the dirt road just to the left of it.

@gameperson, this isn't Earthbound 64, which would have been Mother 3. If you want to play Mother 3 you can, it was eventually released on Game Boy Advance (as a 2D game of course), though you'll either need to read japanese or use the fan translation patch.

Only Earthbound (Mother 2) was ever released in English, in 1995 for the SNES. It is very rare nowadays and goes above $80 on eBay.

Alternatively, emulator and rom.

It is possible to play Mother 1 and Mother 3 in English, but via emulators again. I'd recommend starting with Earthbound then moving onto Mother 3.
