Hum i did finish GODS EATER story arc and in Burst yes i agree our character is allot more self sacrificial but i don't really feel that Ren is a 2nd romantic interest and i feel that her voice did not suit her.But i really can see our MC in a bed with Alissa but not with Ren.In my eyes i think Licca is more like a romantic interest cause of the sick bay scene and Licca look really concernd and here voice is like she was about to cry if you where to die.

hey guys do you think i can beat the final boss with level 5 ahort sword (yang short sword) lv 3 bowgun II and a level 4 shield? im too lazy to get yhe materials to upgrade my sword just need quickener

@rdguevara31 I am not familiar with short-swords, but if it has the correct element, you should do okay. But the Gun could get quite useless in Battle if you don't have a high multiplyer for the element it focuses on. if i remember correctly, the bowgun is an assault-type, so 2 should do fine (if not, you will need one that is way bigger. 2.8 would do good).

Also, if you did not notice already: Bullet-type Ammo has reduced OP-usage with an Assault-Type. Same goes for Laser with Sniper-Type.

@Thyphix The Non-Burst version was Japan-only. Burst is an extended version with addtional Aragami and a lot more Missions. And yeah, they fucked up the early buyers, since Burst released shortly after the original Game.

The original God Eater was better in terms of story, but your MC was the idiot who doesn't talk and does all the dirty work, but no one gives a damn about. Your MC really shines in Burst as the other characters pay more attention to you, that moping sucker Soma is not the main character anymore, and you even get two semi-romantic interests! (Guess who!)

Also, you get several (okay, maybe some) EPIC Isaveeveryonebyriskingmylife moments. And your MC will actually "talk" sometime in the game!

@KajouKing Oh yeah, that annoyed me as well. Since i Focus on close combat she always gets in my way, wehen the monster breaks, since her radial sometimes blocks off the entire monster against sword attacs. Or macbe that's just me as a Long Sword-user, since all attacs include charging at the enemy (how are you supposed to get a full hit combo with those fierce attacs?)

@KajouKing Hell they even made a joke about it if you talk to Kannon anytime she is avalible in the enterance she says "Anytime i try to fire a recovery bullet to my teamates they run away in fear do you know the bullet to make them trust me more" you have 2 options say "i did" she will answer"you did!? i check the bullet editor on how to help my teamates" other option "i did not know" she explains how bullets work

Well Soma is kind of a big central character of the original GE story line mostly because of his relationship to the big bad and to Shio, your own character really becomes the star in the Burst story line right after.
