what a stupid question.. a fiesta has a brilliant chassis, why not have the power it deserves. its not like a p.o.s corsa redtop that has a chassis made of cheese and gearbox to match. 2.0L fezzies are cool, nice work mate.
Because it makes them fast? Mondeo engine, has a closer ratio gearbox so accelerates more than you'd imagine. I've been in a standard 136bhp 2 litre fezzie and they DON'T hang around.
unfortunatly it seems most manufacturers are going small engine with a turbo route, big nasp will always be better than boosting the shit out of a small block
Throttle is just instant! Good work pal!

@paulwisdom2008 ; Alfa's 2.0 ltr twinspark has 155bhp in standard form, and
is normally aspirated, it too has a close ratio box, on paper not that impressive,
but out on the road it is a different story, with that box you are always in the power
zone, and when the variable valve kicks in at 2500rpm it howls all the way to 7000
it is a joy, it has been replaced by a 1.4 turbo petrol output 170bhp and more
fuel efficent, shame..
