It's OK to discuss, not to exploit ignorance as argument. Carbon dioxide, the critical green-house gas, is colorless and odorless. What you see is mostly water vapor (at high pressure) and particulate matter, which will deposit soon after. Water vapor exists, I hope you'll admit you can see it when you fly.

Do you have any idea of the scientific meaning of the word "heat"? What you said is like you said: "something is twice the time as something else". Furthermore, the only universal scale of temperature would be in Kelvins. "Twice the heat" would mean that the average temperature of Earth was, YOUR opinion, almost 1,000 degrees F.

How much it is blown out of proportion or dismissed beforhand by one side or the other is a (scientitifically) irrelevant question that changes less than nothing. No political party can decide, one way or the other, the strength of the force of gravity, nor of any other scientific fact, which are true or false depending on nature, not political convictions. I'm used to debate creationists, so, I'm very familiar with your type of line of reasoning. Yes, he's entitled to an opinion, like any creationist is. Yes, the way things really are is not written in stones and never will, as evolution isn't. Yes, I'm going to challenge all my life claims like "the Earth is 6k years old" or "if we reduce emissions we all die". I see no big difference. Next, I didn't say you ARE a creationist, just that you use a likewise approach to facts and debate, and you imply that I said you ARE a creationist. I suggest that at some point you make an effort to UNDERSTAND what people say. Your strongest arguments up to now have been "everyone is entitled to..." and "debate is still open out there". But if he says he believes it BECAUSE evolution is false and creationism is true, then I challenge him. Likewise, I couldn't care less if CptnAwsm says he doesn't care and that's it. And the response by either person cannot be, at that point, it's just an opinion, or, debate is still open.
