@ROBLOXrayan1565 The pilots that fly in these aircraft to my knowledge do not use the masks for takeoff. Perhaps you are thinking about a military plane of some sort because these particular masks are for emergency use only. I was merely testing it out. What's the name of your friends disease?
Dont they use the mask when taking off? because I had a friend and had a disease and couldnt move his body parts from not wearing a mask during a takoeff.
@rockandroll626 Yes they are very much different than the cabin oxygen masks. They form a better seal around your nose and mouth and include a built in microphone so the pilots can still communicate with ground personnel and one another.
Of course it is. It's a safety device pilots use in case of rapid cabin depressurization called and oxygen mask silly! Periodically you do tests on them to be sure they work. They're also really fun to play with. =P
Yup. The red lever/button on the front of the mask inflates the elastic harness so you can place it over your head. Then after letting go of the button, the pressure is released and the mask is pulled firmly around your mouth. This is the real deal oxygen mask that pilots of today use. Broken this bad boy is worth about 1,800 U.S. dollars but fully overhauled she's worth close to 2,500. Boatload of money for something so simple huh? =)
