can anyone tell me how to put animations i made in 3ds max 2012 into adobe after effects?????

@ItsParker97 You need to render the animation out in a format that has transparency or alpha channels. I use PNG files. This renders out every frame as a PNG file and then you import the first PNG image into after effects and make sure the PNG Sequence box is checked. It should load the clip up and you should be able to drop it right into a new comp. You might want to check the frame rate before doing anything with it though. Hope this helped!

@TEE1994KAY They say in the video but i'll break it down for you. To motion track they use boujou, for piecing it together they used Adobe after affects and for the 3D models of helicopters and fire and stuff, they used 3ds Max :)

@wbotha84 Might be possible, but if anyone's done it yet, it probably can't be used on it's own for lengthy or shaky shots, as very high-end, sensitive accelerometers are classified as weapons components, as they make shooting a missile through a 5-foot hole from 600 miles away pretty easy.

@1xXitachiXx1 Most seen here can be done by following tutorials from andrew kramer ( video copilot ) or from greyscalegorilla, They cover basic editing to advanced 3D tracking. You only need to be a little creative to create something original with the things they teach you.

***QUESTION*** How do you guys turn normal lighting and video quality in such awesome in video lighting and quality... i have a Canon XH A1 camera and the quality in the lighting that i saw you guys have in the Making Of... is actually less then the lighting i had to shoot in and my quality was terrible... i have always wanted to know how they make such good quality, i heard about telescine but i understand that is a Hollywood expensive machine.. @lolanubislol they used soft light boxes to improve the initial quality and darkened the final video, but i wish i knew the name of the camera they used X_x anyway there are still image smootheners avalible free online but they are not the best so the better your camera and soft lighting is, even with the smoothener, the better quality your final video will be...
