I think you have a really good voice. Just could use a little practice with the tempo for this particular song. You sound good though =]
PS: I kind of got the impression that you were trying to weave the song into your own kind of melody to kind of "make it yours" - if that's the case instead of trying to just do a regular cover then ignore my comment about the tempo practice.
