A jet is a type of aircraft referring to having some sort of turbine powerplant, so the guys right, and most jets have turbo fans, commercial liners, there are also ram and scram jet powerplants, as well as open duct turbines which have external prop blades, new antonov. This is a turbo shaft motor just like turbo props, it sounds like a jet, it does, and it is a turbine, but has a reduction gearbox to run a shaft

strictly speaking a jet engine is one that makes most of its thrust at the nozzle. so turboprop and turbo-shaft are not technically jets. but its common to refer to all gas turbine engines as jet engines.

@krazor8 You complete idiot, the chassis is meant to be like that because of the immense heat produced by the turbine engine inside of the bike, it also needs room to fill it up with sufficient cooling/ventilation equip. You'd be suprised how hot a turbine engine get's at high velocities, they could have made that bike even faster but it wouldn't have been streetlegal, plus you'd need to wear a suit made out of calcium silicate most probably, or a similar material. This gives me that word limit.

It's not a racing bike, it's a DRAG bike for a reason, and even if you pimped out another bike, I doubt you would be able to get it as fast as this STOCK bike. Don't you?
