THis was the funniest battle I ever fought in my mht carreer. I had just decided to learn the ala gs and didnt know how to draw into a charge lol. i barley repelled him. then i got the black harvest S.A. and killed him in about 15 minutes. Just shows that the variables in monster hunter tri are so numerous that you can never play the same game twice. LOL

@jamstein555 ik he can be annoying im only hr 25 but i recomend using a lance like the spiral lance so u can block his attacks and his roll(wich really helps)btw online make u sure u have 4 people with u for distraction and of course alot of extra damage and dont get cocky with him he will mess u up bad hope this helps

when i tried him, as soon as he broke into area 3 I failed? It wasnt a time out or anything but I was wearing full Lagiacrus that was maxed out on its level with the Lagiacrus Switch Axe, Bolt Axe or something, so what did I do wrong, do I have to hit him more?

@Blobby90 You have to attack his beard until it breaks before he gets to that point of Area 2, Then rather than fleeing he'll move to area 3 for the full battle which I can only assume he does out of a fit of rage at the loss of his beard.

@Toonlinkrulz123 to fight uragaan, i recommend using a hammer, breath core hammer is good, upgraded version better, and i typically use high rank barroth armor, it has excellent defense, and your stamina depletes slower. just stay away from his chin and you'll live

@fibbitygibbit  well gigginox is to fire. Types of weapons you a try is the red wing(great sword), rathalos firesword(great sword), and rathalos flamesword(great sword). For hammer you can use plume flint(hammer), Peco flint(hammer), Red Bludgeon(hammer), and more. Those are many other fire types you can use, but these are good to start you off. Happy hunting! :)

try using alatreon gleam lance, Lagiacrus armor (Low rank armor upgraded to the max) gemmed with a small attack boost, large attack boost by cooking, megadash juices and a king talisman to cancel the status attack down. I managed to kill the whale in within one quest.

@lagiacrusguy I would suggest using the longsword but if you don't want to do that, then i would say great sword. you will probably do more damage that way and have a better chance of actually killing him. You will be slower but usually ceadus attacks very slow so you will have plenty of time to sheath your weapon and get out of there.

@ifxpbjxsucked in my opinion , that is almost correct. I usually spam spirit combos on the beard, (since that is the weakest part of the monster.) Once that is done you can go for the flippers.

@HermanosZerep Diablos isnt really that hard, im hr 47 online and made the decision to finish offline today, for ceadeus stuff, and today i beat him with nardebosche, he isnt really that hard, try to kill him with nardebosche if u dont have it its easy to get from high barioth online, if u dont have online just get icicle spike plus offline, trust me, hes easy.

Honestly, I used a Great Sword and was just fine. Maybe your weapons just aren't upgraded or your armor is weak.

If your equipment is upgraded to it's highest potential (from the materials that are possible to gather for you right now, since not all materials are available in the beginning) then I suggest sticking behind the Royal Ludroth, and watch out for when it rolls. Take advantage of when it's shooting water.

Hello I loved your video. I killed Ceaadeus a couple of days ago and need to learn how to kill him consistently. I used the upgraded dragon hammer but I hate hammers, I like Switch Axes and I am OK with Longswords. I just made a ToughBreak but I got the one that has +15 affinity and like 50 less for damage. I have an extra jumbo pearl, should I make the one you use or just go with mine?

Please note even though I have the Sabertooth+ lance I never tried seriously against Diablos, he looks hard.

@HermanosZerep I was using the Switch Axe one you made to fight Ceadeus. Diablos is difficult, but if you can manage to make Steel or Agna armor, the Guard skill will go well with your lance.

@HermanosZerep you cant kill him first time around its impossible you have to weaken him enough for the second time you take the quest then he will be in area 3 for the whole quest then you can kill him

my weapon of choice is thunderclap + and armour is helios full set

and i have the thunderclap+ but havent killed him either just did the side quests lol

No matter what you use, it's a good idea to hunt in the moga woods for things to trade for UW Ballista Ammo, it's almost essential to repel the first time without high rank equipment (and the Res points are fantastic for farming).
