understand that a bear that weighs upward over 2000 pounds has around 800-1000 pounds of fat on it.. a really big tiger being 850-900 pounds has nearly any fat and is extremely quick and strong. its muscle to muscle ratio is SICK! bears are good adversaries and im not saying they never would win in a fight with a tiger but it would have to be an unexperienced tiger to where a bear would on rely on its mass defense of fat. keep in mind who the omnivore is and who the carnivore is.

They do not have 800-100 pounds of fat. That is asinine. And they usually aren't that fat. They only get fat when before winter. Brown bear are made of ridiculous amounts of muscle. They even have a special adaptations. That hump on their shoulders is pure muscle which give them immense strength. They can easily move boulders that weigh over 1000 pounds.
