  • fps fail

  • @SASNORGELNRRA Yeah. this was on a laptop dual core. 2.0 Ghz and 4G of memory, but atleast I had it on tape and I'm happy I could help many people with this tutorial ;)

Maybe I remake this tutorial, becouse I have a Better PC now.

  • Thx dude.

  • mmmmm may dont need the gps if you set ur flight planner to ifr cos the atc control will tell you about heading....

  • @NicholasWalditama Indeed. But when you are in multiplayer sessions, you don't have ATC most of the time.

  • nice music i like the music

  • Great video. Tks .

  • I tried to get this right for like 2 hours and just kept failing. The best attempts I got were after I switched the AP over to NAV 1 it would line up with the runway but constantly go to far and then keep over compensating. It never lined up correctly.

  • Well you land much better on your own!

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Hi, yes I know, I did it with my own flight plan, nav frequency etc etc, it is not working what am I doing wrong? any causes to get thrown off course, my plane does not line up with runway at all...

  • @itsleo Same for me

  • can you help?? I did everything as is........as soon as I turn to NAV1 the plane gets thrown completely off course, goes way way far from destination airport, I did vectors, right frequency, everything sooooooooo frustrated what is it??

  • @itsleo This a video from Amsterdam (EHAM) to London (EGLL) With ervery different flight the Frequentie could be different.

So If you guys do the same things in this video. Start en EHAM and go to EGLL

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we enjoy to play FSX?

    (3) What is the enjoyment auto-land a 747 comparing with visual landing?

    (4) What is the fun to fly by Instrumental Flying Rule (IFR) comparing with Visual Flying Rules (VFR)?

THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • just did my first successfull flight from Barcelona to Amsterdam, thanks again

  • @MH1994ever

    Nice!

    Fine to Hear ;)

  • @Jik007 that must be it, i forgot the nav 1 button, thanks!

  • @MH1994ever

    Glad I could help ;)

  • I dont get it. I was 14 miles away from the airport, still no morse. I set to nav and the plane turns itself away from the airport

  • @MH1994ever

    what was your altitude?

keep it 5000 feet or lower when you approach the airport.

in you radio stack you see below buttons

click the button for nav1. then it should light up!

Then you hear the morse when you are close to the airport

  • hey i tried this flight exactly the way u hv shown in this video. i even set the same heathrow airport and it went perfectly fine. but when i tried another time with a different destination, the plane steers of course when i set my 'gps' to 'nav' .

  • @darkdesire8844

The best way to set gps to nav is when gps says that you are 20 nm away from you destenation

Becouse there could be more airports with the same ILS frequentie

If the problem still has the same effect and the plane still goes the wrong direction try 15nm away from the destenation.

  • you shoiuld only put the autothrottle on once you are going through climb checklist.

  • It wont let me type in a airport. Why?

  • @potatomanjr

Watch My Mouse in this movie

I click on the arrowrs in the gps +'

  • @Jik007 Which brings me to my next question... I get in a lear jet and I set the gps and nothing happens.

  • @potatomanjr

    that could be many things:

but here you have two things:

    - did you turn on the autopilot? (2 buttons you have to turn on)

    - did you switch from nav to gps? (you see the switch all the way on your left in f10 view)

    GreetzZ Jiky-San

  • @Jik007 This is what I was told to do, shift 3 press right arrow type in adress press enter set on gps and also press waypoint at the beginingish

  • @potatomanjr

    Yeah That's right

But you have to look to my mouse in the movie

You can set your GPS the right way but If you don't turn the autopilot on It doesn't have an use.

    GreetzZ Jiky-San

  • @Jik007 I was told to press Z to turn it on.

  • lol i play this game and pray to it, but iv never used the Autoland thingy, and man just looking at this id rather make my own landing :) looks so comp,

  • @OMBIC

Well ofcourse. in real life pilots always try to land the aircraft in there own.

But is is very hard when de visibillity is 0.5 nm

Did you ever land an aircraft when it is very misty?

    Gr. Jik007

  • Awesome tutorial! Good job!

  • Never have autothrottle on for taking off

  • @zKa0sz

    you are right

    officialie you don't

but it is very handy so people don't go overspeed on take off ;)

    GreetzZ Jik007

  • @Jik007 after departure set the throttle back a little bit and then set the autothrottle on, that a the proper and handy way

  • the best tutorial

  • @libanon88 Thank you very much!

  • i needed this

  • very good video, I will need this later.

  • thank you my friend for your Help Good video :)
