Im not sayin that these guys music sucks. im just stikin up for US Underground.

  • @theJJowners heck yeah, everyday. but it's up to us to link up wit folks get out there and rock the mess out them shows...we are doing something on the underground that is extremely afrikan, and i think the "true heads" of senegal are aware of that.

  • @theJJowners damn u rite son...don know but pple still twisted on the real underground shit..lol..i'm african but theses pple don get it for real!!!

  • hiphopsenegal dat net

  • this just goes to show that you can find good hip hop ALL OVER THE WORLD so to base the state of hip hop just because of the mainstream hip hop in the U.S. (which we all now is shit) is not right in my opinion hip hop is alive and well.

  • Quella è una maglietta.....ITALIA!!!

  • There is plenty of good clean rap in america but we don't want to sign those rappers we sign people like lil wayne :( Even good songs from the crappy mainstream rappers aren't appreciated.

PS:fck MTV fck the radios fck the sponsors.

  • EMINEM IS ONLY COMMERCIAL SHIT

  • eminem is total shit compared to rappers like jay-z, snoop dogg, even 50cent . just a total joke

  • eminem is one of the best rappers alive

  • bs he is

  • Most absurd comment I've ever heard

  • la doo duf duhh uhhg ruu uhgg . speak egolosh like jam masfer jayh heep hop

  • I love Senegal, I'd like to visit it some day

  • Senegal ca kaw!

some day hip hop from Senegal will have that international standard and people from the worl would discover these good and positive vibes from west Africa

  • look how positive the rap message is from these muslims. Because they believe in something, true or not, they have positive messages unlike other non muslim rap all over the world

  • @Grapezz1 Positive message? Most real american rappers have good messages. But tehy are not necessarilly positive. Does it matter if you are a muslim?

  • @nonofyall i am not quiete sure about what you are saying! yes there are in fact those who deliver really positive messages but they are not mainstream and dont get the oppurtunity to sign major contracts just for the fact that they are not marketable or profitable,,listen to saigon atlantic record,it will help you understand!tupac talked about it too, rappers like immortel technique, lupe fiasco, roots, talib kweli, mos def and many more dont get much attention or advertisement.

  • @afroguineaful I see you didn't comment on my question about islam but I'm just gonna say it cause I need it of my chest:

I don't understand why blacks convert to islam, cause the arabs and the turks has caused just about as much suffering to blacks as white imperalists have. No disrespect to black muslims, but I'm just not confortable with that thought, cause in Mauretania blacks can still be born into the slave caste meanwhile arabs are upper class.

  • not all mauritanien are slaves.those who had their ancestors kept in captivity for centuries are those who face this new form of slavery.both of their names, first and last are typically arab names.however, the sarakholes, fulanis and wolof are not considered or treated as slaves rather they are treated just like an arab would treat any black person which is discriminatory.those tribes preserve their cultures, names, rituals and are not seen as subjects of arabs, but inferior bcause they are black.

  • @nonofyall gucci, lil wayne and many more are those who are more wanted and helped to put in lots of work to bring in lots of cash!!!!you see.....THAT IS JUST THE REALITY OF MAINSTREAM AMERICA,,HOLLYWOOD AMERICA!!!

  • @afroguineaful I can agree with you on that one brother. It's total shit. People don't listen to the emce no more. They listen too the one who have the most money and they say they like it because of that. I mean that's serious shit.

  • Good thing they listened to classic hip-hop/rap with meaning unlike they new 'soulja boy' bullshit

  • Nice!

  • Bottom line is that we should be able to listen to this "CRAP" but we should not let it make us do negative things. We should not apply these trains of thoughts into real thinking or real life as that of course would perpetuate violence, oppresstion, sexism, dedegration, and other things etc.

  • Also, why can't people just make hip hop/rap videos etc that have any kind of message negative or positive or whatever and just make them. First of all that is what freedom of speech guarantees us. Although many of us might be buying or listening to this crap, it is not telling us to have or follow or support this kind of lifestyle.

  • Hip hop is not all negative. Although the general message today has been emphasized negatively, we do not have to support this message. First of all hip hop that many people say is negative is actually speaking on/of/about the reality of real life and what is going on in the "ghetto". This music is not CRAP but althought it may be considered CRAP by some we have to also realize that this music is "poison" while at the same time it is "art". Bottom line is why can't people just do whatever.

  • American hip-hop wasn't always as negative as it is today. It started out like these Senegalese gentlemen are doing today-creative and w/a message.

Commercialization has ruined hip-hop. Rappers with positive messages ARE out there, they're just not getting any air-time b/c the big corps won't sign and/or promote them. Most rappers don't even believe what they rap about-to them it's just a paycheck. If people weren't BUYING the crap, they'd probably have to stop making it...

  • hahaha and americans wonder why they are not liked!!!!!! kool her the gut credited with inventing rap was jamaican, born in Jamaica he went up to the us an jus did wat jamaicans had been doing for decades rhyming over music americans didnt know anything about "rap" un til this guy came alond credit to d foundation rappers for doing there thing long live 90's hip hop ..... get rid of d lil waynes an soulja boys an flo-ridas !!!!

  • thats not entirely true mate.. there were actually musicians like Gil-Scott Heron who sang and also used spoken word over percussion. hear "the revolution will not be televised".. yeah theres other pioneers not just kool herc.. roy ayers was doing abit of rapping before but i do agree toasting is a precursor to hip hop so is the spoken word poetry

  • @achmadim Spoken word, a precursor to hip-hop, has been around before Kool Herc was born. It's from Afro-American oral tradition of storytelling. He's a pioneer and I like him, but not the only pioneer.

  • @tolldoll100 Spoken Word Is universal not afro american its one of the few traditions that survived slavery im from trinidad in the caribbean and before hip hop there was a oral tradition that we called chanting it was done over drums and accompanied by singing at times, in the english speaking caribbean u saw musical styles like calypso and reggae coming out of this early art form

  • @achmadim You are correct, sir.

  • well dubp as i aint american and i rapper so wat u chatting

  • I think it's hard for the North American black rappers to respect women, when they spend the majority of the time with them, beating, raping and drugging them. Pimping them into whores and spreading around STDs like wildfire.

  • Inspiring

  • T.I.A

  • I am a woman in my 40's from the states & I really learned something I didn't know. I wish the rappers in the States would learn to respect themselves and the women in their videos like these gentlemen. GREAT JOB!!!!!!
