Thats why Hendrix is such a genius such a precious once in a lifetime artist.. His fire and eneery has touched so many lives.... so many guitarists have been inspired to play to practice to get good good and burn like he did.... who does the best Red house? Anyone who asks that question has not understood what Jimi was all about.. its not who's best it the "mutual fire we all burn in" İts Jimis spark with us brings out the best we have each with our own unique "soul".. thats the deal jack...
Woah, Lance jumped right into a crazy solo. Cool but not it doesn't really build any tension. Anyways they are both incredible. I am a big Andy fan. I got to play a blues jam in front of him and a bunch of middle aged people at his masterclass. I was shaking from nervousness knowing that the master was watching and listening to everything I was doing. It's unreal
Oh yes!!!!!! Listen to Gary Moores version with Pino Palladino!!!! Just listen and learn!!!! Thats what the blues really is. Every note carved to perfection, then polished. If that wasn't enough, each note is passed through qaulity control and then honed to utter perfection and then some. When that't completed its then passed back to Gary and only if he's happy is it allowed to pass to the guitar and then the amp. The valves then go through the whole process again.....
but gary moore, though an amazingly good blues-based guitarplayer is not what 'the blues really is', as you state. but then, he doesn't have to be, since he is awesome anyway for being just gary moore.
LOL I was under the influence of a night's vodka and apple juice when I wrote it. Moores version with Palladino is my favourite though. I love Timmons but for me Moore has that raw edge to him. Anyway, nice sharing views with you.
FANTASTIC. WHAT GUITAR PLAYERS!!!!!!!! Both are masters: Lance is similar to SRV; Andy to Hendrix, with a bit of sofistication. AWESOME both!!!!!
