  • LOOOL

  • perai eu pisquei.

  • This is sad seeing a fully grown man get all excited over solving a simple puzzle. He would be upset if he realised he wasted like one 5th of a second before he even moved anything

  • es 2X2 un amigo lo rompe

  • haha luck no pll :D

  • lol, now this is 30th in the world.

  • ese es el record de 2*2

  • and in the same year, Erik got 0.96

  • he's all like "Yeah Bitches, I did it."

  • This is OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Antall18

Have you seen when the video was upload?

  • @rubikaz no...

  • @jobatrom

  • Que bueno macho !!

  • not anymore

  • maaaaaaaadreeeeeee

  • jeez

  • zomg nice solve!!!!¡¡¡¡!!!!¡¡¡¡!!!!

  • alright i believe u

  • how are u sure its official

  • I was a member of the organisation team, I was there. You can check it in the WCA webpage: worldcubeassociation . org without space, go to competitions, choose Year 2008, click list, click Murcia Open 2008 (23 Feb), click all result and then go to the table

2x2x2 Cube Final Average of 5

  • The camera was filming David Calvo, he finished his cube and then he went to his camera and filmed Javier Paris. It is not a fake, it is a official time.

  • ...fantástico campeón!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Record is now 0.96 seconds now.

  • how?

  • VIVAAAA!!!! QUÉ BONITOOOO!!!

  • chambon's solve is a DNF.

  • You are the winner in the category

    Stupid comment, month May

  • dude, its obviously not solved... at 0:20 you can clearly see the top left square is white while the top right square is green... get some glasses yeah?

  • he must be very happy :D

  • they set it up

  • beating a world record must be the best feeling in the world..

    that was beast.

  • amazing !

  • WAHAT?!

  • The lady on the left wasn't even paying attention to her guy when he finished ! lol

  • heh 163

  • haha look at the girl

  • the world record is 0.96 seconds right?

  • ya it is a erik akkerdijik or something my pr is 1.59 but it was a hoax lol it was a 3 move solve it was awsome

  • me encantan los comentarios del fondo XD

  • very fishy

  • lol no one seems to know that this isn't the world record anymore...erik akkersdijk broke it with a time of like .96 seconds haha too bad there isn't a vid

  • i saw him solving it then drop it n the woman put the box ovr it. then he finsihed the 2 moves

  • You are stupid. Please, read first the regulations...

  • FIXXED

  • hey that's george castanza from seinfeld

  • lol

  • wow. you are now gonna get massive amounts of pussy now that you beat this record

  • lol really

  • whats faster, guimond or ortega

  • guimond, but learning every method can help you with every case on the cube

  • woaaaaaaaaaaa!!! this is going on my favorites and im subbing you subb back

  • ... the geek partol.

  • Screw you. Rubik's cube is FUN....

  • He became a super star 1.63 seconds after he started to hold the cube.

  • oh yeah he is such a hero

  • I think Erik got 0.98seconds in single and Eduard Chambon got sub3.28sec at Geneva Open

  • erik got a .96s solve. eduoard did get a 3.28 avg.

  • my record is 1.8x full ll skip, and my record avg is about 5.4x

  • Guimond?

  • Yeah I think so...

Most of the advanced cubers use Guimond like Yu Nakajima

  • No can't be guimond, lucky ortega or lbl. guimond is more consistent, not too many lucky cases.

  • My PB is 1.88, not far really.

  • i can do it in 20sec using the corners of a 3x3... hopefully i can buy a 2x2 soon lol

  • i can get it in about 15-20 seconds

  • wow!!! my record is 1.88 seconds solved in 4 moves. non-lucky is 4.8x just an easy case

  • mi record is 7 secs

  • mi record is 12 secs

  • mines about 25-30 without a lubricated cube

  • i forgot to mention in my comment about the solution and the scramble, i have tried and tried and i still cant work it out!!!

  • if the scramble is:

    F´D2 L2 B´D´B R´D´R´U L´B´L2 U´L2 U2 R2 B2 R2 U2 B2 R2 D R2 D2

then what is the 4 move solution?

  • The solution is:

    D2 F2 L' F

  • thanks a lot

  • what was the scramble on this?

  • that's awesome and he's sitting next to Edouard Chambon and gets to talk to him....i wish i cud

  • Increible

  • so insane!

  • omg

  • O.O

    esta suave

tengo q comprarme el de 2x2

hare lo mismo q ese we

  • y el señor d donde es¿?

  • Paris es de Valencia

  • WOW

  • lol :D

  • incredible!

  • That was awesome! :)

  • look at the girl which is right side of the man.. got lil suprised! :D

  • You don't even know what are you saying...a noob with lucky? Well...if it was so lucky, then, anyone would have done it better...or at least in the 4 movements he did.

  • the lady was like wtf?

  • yeah i saw that lol

  • comunidad judio murcia

  • Wow I'm only 7 seconds off of the world record

  • wtf he did like 3 rotations.. not scrambled good enough??

  • 4 rotations..

A 2x2 cube can be always solve in less of 11 movements. The scramble was the following one:

    F´D2 L2 B´D´B R´D´R´U L´B´L2 U´L2 U2 R2 B2 R2 U2 B2 R2 D R2 D2

Try to solve it in 4 movements. It is not so easy. He was the only one that got it.

  • after scramble = zy'F2R2U'R :) i think its quite 100% luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WR in 2x2 shouldn't be accpeted with luck

  • Why only for 2x2? I think lucky solves are acceptable, or else we should also delete/not accept all x-cross solves. :p

  • but not every x cross is luck :P check Nakaji films :P

  • That is incredible!

    \

  • Lucky skip. He averages around 7.12.

  • JUMPING FUCKING JESUS, THATS GOD.

    Saludos

  • luck > skill

  • its sad that in 2x2 record with LC is accepted :/ :(

  • Not lucky, he had to work for it...

  • on this scramble is simple guimond orientation which solves whole cube with PLL skip

  • May you please write out the soloution for me? Thanks

  • I was wondering why the hell you stated this one.

Was it a guess? If so, please let everyone know that it was simply your guess.

It was not neither guimond nor a PLL skip. He solved a complex first layer and then got a LL skip.

    Cheers,

    David

  • after scramble = zy'F2R2U'R :) i think its quite 100% luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WR in 2x2 shouldn't be accpeted with luck

  • It is luck, but he was the only one who found the 4-mov solution, I think it should be accepted.

  • check his avg ...

  • i love the facial expression the girl made after seeing the time! hahahaha

  • Amazing!

  • whats the scramble for this?

  • F´D2 L2 B´D´B R´D´R´U L´B´L2 U´L2 U2 R2 B2 R2 U2 B2 R2 D R2 D2

Try to solve it, there is a solution of 4 movements but Javier was the only one that found this solution in the Open.

  • I have no clue...
