...affection. I cannot hold down a relationship and my 13 year old daughter hates me. I live alone being torn apart by the turmoil of not knowing the man in the mirror. I have booked in with a therapist for somebody to speak with about this... but im not holding much hope. I cant imagine living my whole life not answering these questions. Anyway hun. Its possible that my mother may have been able to successfully hide thus episode from her family and even husband if she is married. If she had a family, husband etc, last thing she needs is her secret child waltzing back into her life. Under Moroccan culture this would certainly have here struck out by any family she may have. Its a real issue for me now as im getting older. Its effected my relationship with everybody who has ever been close to me. I am cold inside, unable to love or show...

I so hope you find your parents! I was adopted as a 2 week old baby from a Moroccan orphanage. I was abandoned by my mother. My adoptive parents were also Moroccans but they had emigrated to the UK in 1970. There is a very slim chance of me ever discovering the truth about my birth and the womens story on how I came about. There would only be three options. 1: I am a result of rape 2: Result of prostitution, 3: Conceived out of wedlock.

i know how u feel .. and i hope u find ur real parents and i wish u the best .. im adoptedd , i was adopted almost two years ago . im glad i got adopted but i wish i was with my mom and dad .. i have 4 sisteres and two brothers but we all dont live togetherr and it hurts cuz i wish we could all be together but i always remberr every thing happens forr a reason i always wonder why i cant be with my real parents .. if u wonna know more go to my page and message me .

@karencarey12 aww thank you so much. I know how u feel, there is no place like living w your "real/biological" mom and dad. I am glad you were adopted too though. I know there are many kids out here that never get placed into a family :( I know it must hurt and I am sorry that you hurt for not being able to be with your siblings. I have someone i can lean on it's just when it comes to me talking about my mother i get all shy because it's like you no how you can ask somebody "do you feel me"....and i know and she knows that she can't but i can tell her what on my mind and she will try her best to explain her feeling on what i said!!! i sent you an email hope you respond soon thanks!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I just moved to Japan and all I could think about was how far I am probably going to be from her and I dont even know her or where she may be. It was strange. Its a difficult and long process so I can understand how you feel about that too. I always try to tell people to find someone you can lean on. Thats always an adoptees advice, because it is something you cant do alone. I am always here if ya need me. I have an email on my site if you would like to check it out

hey i'm adopted too and just joined the military ....(seems like i miss her even more knowing im getting ready to be in the military and i don't even know her :/....) i been some what trying to find my momz too!!! it is very hard when you try to do it all alone!!!! but i pray your search is a success!!!

Aww that amazing! I have been searching on FB as well. Many reunions are done over FB its amazing! I am so happy to hear that. I just hope that my mom has a FB. I have a feeling she doesnt :(

I called the adoption agency that icame from, but it seems that they're takin waaay too long and know i fee that i have 2 put the issue into my own hands. but its hard because everyday more time is slippin away from me. I have 1 brother in the system and the other 2 are with their natural fathers. And ma birth mom and dad, only God knows where they are

Can't believe the US doesn't keep a database, yes, encoded for release if both biological parent & child she has put up for adoption, consent, that one can start the process. SURELY a national database should exist in the US? Just your adopted name should be enough to begin the process in that aspect. I have thought of adopting children, though it is only if they have no biological family, I have a good reason for this. Database however, should exist, if not, rally for it. Best wishes dear.
