You have to remember that in 1977, there was no such thing as entertainment news. I'd sooner have plummy newsreaders caught off guard by the death of a singer and the reaction to it then, than news bulletins bombarded with the product-placement crap we get now.

This was one interview that certainly didn`t give Elvis all the wonderful credit he so dearly deserved and was not very nice and tasteful to say the least, with certain things that were said at this time of his death.

Interesting how Joe changes his story in different interviews!
