I think that Isha is very sexy. I really love her energy, her intelligence, and her sex appeal. Plus, she seems to be very confident about what she does.
I'm not a big fan of her. I don't like her energy. It's very abrasive. Anyway, I'm tired of all these Brits taking over our airwaves and movies. We are outsourcing our entertainment/news, too? How pathetic. Isha should go back to Britain.
@EliteMagnifique1 Firstly, it's not her accent that bugs me so much as it is her speaking style and her personality. As I said, it's abrasive and comes off as way too serious. I understand she covers serious news, but she takes it too far. Secondly, if she were the only Brit on American TV it wouldn't bother me so much, but there are far too many on American airwaves. Last time I checked, we won independence from England in 1776. Also, Americans are not on British airwaves. Seems unbalanced.
@zgirl777 .. Americans........ not British... hired her ...so y dont u start a boycott against "nonAmerican-accented-serious-proper English-speaking-journalists.. ( choops.!!.)
@zgirl777 People love their accents. Wouldn't you rather listen to someone with a nice voice telling a boring story over someone with an ugly voice telling an interesting one. I love how CNN supports Africa, as she mentioned. I mean listen to her-she sounds great!
@almtonmak It's not her accent. It's her speaking style and her personality. Too abrasive and serious. I don't like her...besides the fact that there are too many British people in American media...that's a whole other issue. As I said, the issue is not with the English accent. I like the English accent. But I don't like Isha's style and I don't like that we hiring too many Brits in American media.
@zgirl777: The problem is that the Brits know how to speak better English than the Americans do, they can write better English and news stories than Americans do. The average American journalist is too small-minded and unintelligent compared with their British counterparts. Face it, America's educational standards are lacking.
@taritrott well, we see examples of that on yt all the time.. and everytime any non american black person expresses themselves in an articulate manner the assumption is made that we must be "white" because small minds really believe africans do not know how to "speak english well" despite the FACT that it us crowding the hallowed halls of learning all over the place..
I like Isha even though I can't watch most of CNN programming due to the extreme bias and servitude to gov't "talking points" (propaganda). But I find Isha to be smart and articulate...not to mention very aesthetically pleasing.
I think that was a good interview....it is a shame that poor Kenyan armchair pundits are spewing stupid and unnecessary negative comments...this is not an ODM and PNU encounter
lol they were outdoing each other..ati oooh i went to school in UK...crap she started with a kenyan accent and ended up with ana american one towrds the end..plus isha sessay she is full of herself who does she think she is Orie Rogo Manduli???
