If you eat real chicken and then a substitute side by side, you can tell the difference regardless of seasoning. My friend is a vegetarian and she feels great, but when I was a vegetarian (hence why I've tried meat substitutes), I felt sick and constantly craving something more satisfying. Maybe some people need to eat more meat than others. All I know is that I feel healthiest when I eat lots of carbs and meat. Don't need fruits/veggies too much.
