@impaler187 wrestling is a form of sport entertainment and WCW favored the sport aspect of it whilst WWE doesn't mind turning their cheerleaders into cheer whores. I can't say that it didn't excite me seeing Sable or Trish Stratus stripping down when I was a kid but it's easier to explain to a kid that "the fighting is fake" rather than why the show has so many strippers. if I see wrestling today, it's nothing to do with their fem stars but the athletes.

Goldberg tells some great fairy tales but he stopped because he wasn't being pushed as this unstoppable juggernaut anymore like he was in WCW. Who wouldn't like to wrestle for just 3 - 5 minutes, smash some no name joe, get paid an obscene amount of money & be EVERYBODY'S hero. When he came to WWE it was a reality check. Fans liked the gimmick but it was getting old. For a athlete of his caliber to have NO classic matches or anthology tells the tale in itself. Goldberg was talent wasted by WCW.

@facephoenix As an accent to what you are saying in regards to unstoppable juggernaut, lots of talent were pooled into WCW with the promise that things would eventually pay off for them in the long run. And that may well have happened had a number of things not happened: Disney pulling out all the stops against Time-Warner and AOL not merging with Time-Warner. That 9/11 happened after and WWE rubbed salt in the buyout's wounds were just a GOP vindictive exclamation point. What do haters know?

It will improve soon.... I feel it for some reason...The thing is that times always change and wrestlers will always change...Right now we don't think that highly of the new breed of wrestlers because we are comparing them with great legends and icons of the past... Yes they were great but I bet that a few years down the road we will have NEW icons...The current content needs to improve...Better rivalries, chaos, etc....They also need to cut down on the ppv's and have a few...
