Ron Paul came in second in the Louisiana caucus yesterday! Second in Nevada and second in Louisiana! Meanwhile, the mainstream media's so called "top tier" candidates continue to drop out.
No military people have to lose their jobs. We have been closing bases here in the U.S. They could be stationed there and benefit the economies of those U.S. cities instead of foreign cities. If we need to reduce the size of the military, it could easily be done through attrition. Nobody would be fired. Paying our military personnel is a relatively small part of the defense budget. That's not where cuts need to be made.

What is being proposed by Congress and the president is simply doing more of what caused the problem. They seem to think that we can get out of this situation with more low interest rates and by borrowing more money from our grandkids.
Only Ron Paul is proposing necessary changes to the root causes of the problems. If we do not implement Ron Paul's ideas, the dollar will continue to lose value, the national debt will continue to rise and the economy will struggle.
As far as eliminating the income tax, as Ron Paul proposes, and replacing it with no new taxes, this is a fundamental moral issue. Whose money is it? Who has the right to the fruits of your labor? By cutting spending to the level of ten years ago, we can eliminate the income tax. Both of these things need to be done.
We may have to face what only a minority of us are willing to accept...we're in serious trouble. And no amount of printed dollar bills will fix it. That will only deepen the gap and create a temporary net overtop of it. I believe that if people don't wake up soon it may be too late for our way of life because we will wake up to see foreign invaders coming to seize control of our nation from the fools we elected and implicitly left in charge of it.

I plan on voting on Dr.Paul. I really hope he wins but the corruption to which is the federal reserve will not allow him to win. I've recently become a precinct leader in my town of Redmond, Oregon. It absolutly amazes me just how many people don't know about Ron Paul, or what he is really about. I sepnt 15 hours last weekend going door to door and talking o people in my town about him and looking for their vote.

No military people have to lose their jobs. We have been closing bases here in the U.S. They could be stationed there and benefit the economies of those U.S. cities instead of foreign cities. If we need to reduce the size of the military, it could easily be done through attrition. Nobody would be fired. Paying our military personnel is a relatively small part of the defense budget. That's not where cuts need to be made.

As far as eliminating the income tax, as Ron Paul proposes, and replacing it with no new taxes, this is a fundamental moral issue. Whose money is it? Who has the right to the fruits of your labor? By cutting spending to the level of ten years ago, we can eliminate the income tax. Both of these things need to be done.

We may have to face what only a minority of us are willing to accept...we're in serious trouble. And no amount of printed dollar bills will fix it. That will only deepen the gap and create a temporary net overtop of it. I believe that if people don't wake up soon it may be too late for our way of life because we will wake up to see foreign invaders coming to seize control of our nation from the fools we elected and implicitly left in charge of it.

Bringing the troops home means that the hunreds of billions of dollars spent overseas on the US Empire can be spent at home. That money will be in the hands of Americans in America and will be invested and spent creating more jobs than there are soldiers.
