Even with dynamic balance, you still have to know how to operate the rig. You can't just hold on tight to the post handle (in this case, the silver tube/handle below the gimble). You have to contantly use finger pressure on the post handle to counter-act the inertia movement caused by the operators movent about the set. i.e. If you move forward the lower portion of the sled will swing back, if you make a turn, the lower portion of the sled wants to swing in the same direction it was moving.
Mate! You are on every video about this steadycam with same problem. this is just budget stabilizer ok? And if you are so upset with thi product buy professional steadycam and stop moaning.
You know what would be nice to add to that? Florescent bubble levels!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!! If you add that I better get a discount and some credit or something. Thanks!
Why don't you balance the cam with the lens facing down, since it wants to rotate that way any ways? Also if you put one of those micro levels or bubbles on the stage or the weight platform it'll help with leveling the rig
Хреновый ролик, много воды и мало сути. Оператор показывает говорящего, когда необходимо показывать детали.

5:50, that's called an acceptable "Drop Time", not "Vertical Balance".
7:58, no it isn't ready to use, you have to test the Dynamic balance by spining the sled on its vertical axxis.
This would be a much useful video if you would've explained how to achieve "dynamic balance" (no only static balance).
