@MrDraculahowsby with high turnover its hard to make "heaps of dough". you will never have any experienced staff working for you, and word gets around that you aren't good to work for you'll get fewer and fewer people applying, and before you know it you will have to hire ANYONE that applies just to keep the place staffed. You will no longer be able to be selective with your hires, and when that happens, you will have nothing but the bottom of the barrel working at your restaurant.
Gordon got pissed at the French chef because he reverted back to his old menu (After Gordon had convinced him to serve different food. For example the French chef had a strawberry and shrimp salad on his menu LOL). Plus Gordon didn't like him because he was full of himself even though his food tasted like dehydrated camel turds.

@TheCusterCat you have to understand that the owners of these shit restaurants are the ones who call him for help. he just doesn't show up at a random place and tell them what to do. then once he's there they argue and bitch when he tells them what a shit job they're doing. All of the places he goes to are on their last leg, completely in debt and about to close down prior to him attempting to fix what they've fucked up.

Gordon Ramsey is a nasty self-opinionated bully. Ramsay should be arrested and flogged. It is basically licensed bullying by the TV programme makers for the sake of entertainment and making money. How are kids supposed to act any better at school and later in life when this is shown to be acceptable as normal behaviour? Ramsay should hang his head in shame every day for behaving like the school yard bully he really is. Google Ramsay Sarah Symonds and you’ll find he is an adulterer also.

@reifsaint if the french guy is so much better then why was he in massive debt and the customers constantly complained about his food? look up reviews for his restaurant prior to the show on Google. Gordon started out as a chef and can cook, ( i own one of his cookbooks and the recipes are EXCELLENT) but over the years has become more of a business man, and a very successful one at that. These small time "chefs" can learn a lot from him if they would just listen to him.

Gordon is the greatest inspector for checking this piggy frenchy restaurant. I wouldn't go to a place that is filthy and using left over foods and stale foods from who know how long! the only problem I have with gordon ramsety isn't really him. its the amount of restaurant bosses that think they can start acting like him and get the same results.
Got news for you....if you go into work ANYWHERE and talk to your staff like this, you are going to have ridiculously high turnover and will forever be working with new staff.
So PLEASE, let Gordon Ramsey be the way he is, and don't think you can be like him and get the same results.

@XuliusCaesar I agree to an extent. Gordon talks like that to those people because, my god in heaven, look at their restaurants! Almost all of them are absolutely disgusting and half of them the chefs don't give a shit. And i seriously doubt that Gordon has to talk to his own staff this way.
I do know that you might not need to cuss, but you do need some bollocks to run a restaurant and a huge pair of brass ones to cook in a successful kitchen.

@MrDraculahowsby with high turnover its hard to make "heaps of dough". you will never have any experienced staff working for you, and word gets around that you aren't good to work for you'll get fewer and fewer people applying, and before you know it you will have to hire ANYONE that applies just to keep the place staffed. You will no longer be able to be selective with your hires, and when that happens, you will have nothing but the bottom of the barrel working at your restaurant.

Gordon got pissed at the French chef because he reverted back to his old menu (After Gordon had convinced him to serve different food. For example the French chef had a strawberry and shrimp salad on his menu LOL). Plus Gordon didn't like him because he was full of himself even though his food tasted like dehydrated camel turds.
