Funny, I hear about them being inaccurate and unreliable a lot from people who don't own them, have never fired one, and can't spell "reliability" or "accuracy" correctly. And I hand-load my ammunition, it's not like it's so rare you can't find it. I use my second-hand Mk XIX for hunting large game and it hasn't failed me yet. It is rather heavy though... of course, it's actually *supposed* to be heavy to help control recoil, so that's not actually a design flaw.

Desert eagles shoot great as long as you keep um clean and oiled. i got the same gun but in .44 and never had a jam. some people shoot unjacketed bullets thru theirs and can mess up the barrel. if u cant aim it put on a scope lol i love my eagle and glad i got mine in .44mag rather then the .50.
