Hey, i remember this mission, all so well. This was my favorite mission when i was still young, about like 4... Yes. i played MOH at age 4, take that!

looking back at this game the graphics suck compared to the ones of today but the game itself is legendary

Can you quick melee or look down a weapons sights in this game?

In Allied Assault, u can only pistolwhip but not melee, and u cant use ure sights except for the sniperrifle.

In the expansionsets (spearhead&breakthrough) u can also bash/melee with other weapons if i remember correct.

@FreshTekNL I heard leaning was taken out of singleplayer but is available in multiplayer. Maybe I can mod those features into the game...

Yeh leaning is only available in multiplayer, if it would be possible to use it in SP in would come in handy in some parts.

Dont know why they removed it.

before COD came out i played alot of MOH but what COD brought to the WW2 FPS games was squad based AI. In medal of honor you fight the Nazis all by yourself and you carry more than two weapons. Look at this level, your whole squad gets wiped out and it all depends on you

The music that played in that mission "Ghillies in the Mist" from CoD4 is the only exception, in my opinion. Never have I gotten such an adrenaline rush from just the music of any shooter I've ever played. But I think what made me experience that rush might have been the fact that it was a stealth mission.

Other than that, I totally agree with you. MoH really does know how to set the mood.

M1's don't reload when the clip is not empty. Thus, you have to shoot out the remaining rounds in order to get a reload.

Nope. I loved MoH:AA and it actually got me into first person shooters but CoD was better in every aspect, and after that Infinity Ward kept making amazing sequels, while MoH almost died.

In my opinion MOHAA is more realsitic and more dramatic. I also think that the enemy AI is better. And one thing that really annoys me in COD is the way the soldiers move. It looks weird and ridiculous. Like marionettes or something. But I am in a minority. COD was better rated by majority of the critics and the websites. So what is it about COD that tickles you more then MOHAA?

Another great series of games is Brothers In Arms.

Well to be honest i can't remember which game had the best AI and all... but i loved CoD so much because with the better graphics and ironsights, it felt a lot more realistic, add to that the epic campaign and multiplayer and there's the perfect game for me... But once again, MoH:AA is easily one of my favorite games of all time. As for Cod 4 and 5 it's all about the multiplayer IMO. I like the BiA series too, but they screwed up big time by not including skirmish mode in their latest title.

That's because the Garand is a stupid weapon. You can't reload, unless you empty your clip.

Oh, ok, I get your meaning. Anyway, in both Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games, I alwasys. always go for the German weapons. They are far better than the Allied ones. My favorite is the Sturmgewehr 44. ;)

u play like the M1 is a sprayer lol. i always play like a sniper, using as few shots as possible to get as many kill as possible. i usually get like 70-90% accuracy. wat about u? 30-40%? lol

lol, this is singleplayer, the AI isnt all to great and at Normal/Hard difficulty they shoot like theyre all snipers u kno.

So i cant just take my time and aim for heads, becos then the AI already shot me :)

Very true. Im almost like a camper, let them come to me. But yeah, like real combat situations, you can't always take your time aiming for the head, although I do do that anyway :)
