i have a wr450f, bought it as a road legal enduro, now it has sm wheels, which aren;t going on untill morning cause i gotta get custom spacers, but i didn'rt buy a factory motard cause its real nice to have something custom, and so rare! how many drz's, ktm 640's etc do you see? how many wr 450 tards do you see??? and when you customise something, it makes it yours!
Nice bike. I can't figure out why people turn dirt bikes into motards though. It's much cheaper and easier to get a ready made motard like an Aprilia, Husky, Husaberg or KTM. Still, it would be great to make your own motard from a stock MX bike. I'd like to turn a Yamaha YZ250(2 stroke) into a street motard.

Bought my bike for $2500, wheels, brakes, supermoto set up etc... for $1500... street legal for $800.
$4800 for a street legal 450, they run around $8000-9000 new up here from KTM / Husqvarna.
