@macfahad Red Alert 3 and Generals had better multiplayer than the Westwood games. Generals' campaigned sucked though and I never even tried RA3's campaign, it looked stupid. Tiberian Sun and RA1 had the best campaigns.

@insight1337 The year of that is debatable though, some sources say as early as 1919, some say as last as 1925 (surprisingly people tend to debate Hitler quite a lot, ha), so if it WAS before about December 1924 sometime, then it would still be right because of the timing of his release from prison.

@RichPlaystation May be you are right. I just remember seeing one of the hitler movies where some of his adjutants pointed him the necessity to have some trademark features, right after that he got that moustache.. But he surely had the normal usual one for quite a long time.

@insight1337 Yeah he would have had a 'normal' moustache until whichever date he decided to go for the Charlie Chaplin look (which is apparently the reason he had one to begin with, because he thought Chaplin was incredibly funny), but as long as he had taken to the brush moustache before his return from prison in December of 1924, that would still be right.

The real contradictions in terms of story with the Red Alert series, come in 2 and 3 FAR more so.

You'll learn far more by teaching yourself, at least, that is what I always found anyway. Plus Hitler is a particularly interesting person to research as a great historical figure.

p.s. Before I get hate mail to this post, 'great' doesn't mean 'good' like it does now, it means 'of great importance', which he was and still is.

@insight1337 I probably know a lot more about the history of NOD in the Tiberium series though (and Tiberium itself) over anything in the Red Alert series, I am a genuine fan of theirs :)

A lot of my 'fun facts' have been learned from shows like QI, which is the best way to learn things, they tend to stick a lot more if you are actually having fun learning :-)

@LoneWierdo Surely, when he says the 'time will tell' line, that is a sign that the time lines must take a moment to re-adjust to the new reality. So for the moment, Hitler did still exist, then when you play the game, he no longer exists.
