  • ne, ne~ doesn't firo have a kinda bakyura feel to him?

  • I'm so used to watching anime's in eng dub and Japanese dub so I accidentally keep switching between episodes and I don't even notice it. -_- Im trying to watch it all in English.

  • i want to work at daily days

  • I hate this: 1931.... *Noise* CONGRATULATIONS, YOU WON!-yahoo ad

ARGHHHHHHH!! SHUT UP ADSSSSS!!! You ruined my show, now I'm going to go back and watch that part again. That ad scared me to death.... NOw back to enjoying the show. orz

  • the theme is the best

  • 16:15 - Words do not describe.

  • 4:29 Your argument is irrelevant.

  • Yo where did the english dubs go? the show frikkin takes place in america man! If they took em down theyre like... bonkers.. I(

  • lol looks like someone brought a knife to a gun fight

  • First ever Mafia Anime? Ohhh, now this is a must buy series I would think. I dont know why people stopped wearing those clothes their nice. Mafia has great taste. compared to these skater bs tsk pitiful

  • WTF IS HAPPENING OMG..

  • "Samassa!"

    "Eleurlearghgsdfj!"

  • if you want to buy it, get it from amazon. its a little bit cheaper to buy from them than at a store

  • WTF is happening. I'm 3 episodes in and all i know is a train got knocked over and a bunch of people are immortal possibly due to a ritual or a science experiment. Theres only 16 episodes but there are two many characters and plot points for a coherent story.

  • @Snakebite105 I find that its easier to comprenhend if you watch it in english since the story takes place in America, even though im usually a stickler for the subs. The characters are immortal because in 1711 a demon gave an immortality drink to some of the characters' ancestors. This story takes place in the 20s tho.

  • @MaiCohWolf I did watch it in english i just posted my comment here because where i watched it doesn't have comments.

Its not that it was hard to understand its that they tried to throw in to many story elements and it spread the story to thin. They didn't even need half the cast of this show to get the exact same story.

  • 16:17 name fail

  • Don't worry meng, I'm gonna buy the dvd but until then, lemme watchie :D

  • Daily Days sure have a kickass staff.. ><

  • This is one of the animes that has a really good dub, and of course it's the one that we can't get the dub for...

  • I love how the opening has all the characters connected in some way, just like the show :3

  • OMG a black person. I was losing hope they had forgotten that black people aren't as rare in America as they are in Japan.

  • Though I am going to buy the Baccano! DVDs within the next few weeks, I am still disappoint at the lack of dub version on Youtube.

  • Aww its not dubbed! What a shame, I love their accents :(

  • It really sucks that the dub was taken down, but if they had the dub all up here, they'd probably never make any money, because we'd all be watching it.

Myself, I know for sure that I'm going to be getting my hands on the dub somehow.

  • 10:00, you know that the tall guy standing there, thinking to himself "You fucking twat!"

  • win at 4:30

  • Is the dubbed really good?

  • lol at the guy who brings a knife to a gun fight.

  • I cant decide who my favorite characters are.

    Isaac and Miria or Firo?

  • this show has the perfect blend, of blood and comedy as well as mystery and fantasy

  • Feels weird watching an NY-set show in Japanese. Just does, besides the dub is very enjoyable.

  • Nice Holystone looks like the teacher from soul eater

  • @piratequeen11

i thought i was the only one who noticed! ;)

  • It's the original Law and Order...gangsta style.

  • am i the only one thats kind of lost in all this frio is cool anyway

  • There is ALOT of creepy people on that train, like Ladd, the guy who said "BANG", umm etc.

  • I like Isaac and love Miria, she's so cute!!

  • This anime so far reminds me of Durarara the older times 0.0

  • @kittygoth1 Well, this one was made first, but they were done by the same creative team. In Durarara, the password for Dollars is "Baccano!"

  • @loqutor Yay now i feel a little smarter.

I know it was made before though this anime also needs to be loved more.

and really? the password is Baccano? Well they have to realate some how if they are made by the same people

  • @kittygoth1 lol ikr?

  • I HATE THESE F*CKING ADDS!! IT KEEPS FREEZING THE VIDEO DDX<

  • Firo is awesome!

  • Elean sounds like Simon from Durarara xDD

  • dub = lame

  • @snapy48 Your lame ya poop sucker

  • @MrChibiZero

    Poop sucker?

That sums up people who watch dubs very nicely, thanks.

  • @jddeitz2000 whats wrong with Dubs? I like the accents....

  • @1122shadowlover It's a ploy by Funimation to get you to buy the hard-copies. *shame on funimation, bad company, so mean*

  • @Malardene well of course they want you to get the actual series in hard copy, if everyone just livestream and download, all the industy will fall thanks to selfish fans

  • @jddeitz2000 I also love the sense of immaturity that it manages to capture.

    It's ingenious.

I've never seen anything so clever in my life.

  • @snapy48 Dub=Lame times 2.

  • they only put a couple of dubbed ones as a sample so u can buy the rest hahah

  • The guy with the tattoo on his face reminds me of Michael Cera. P:

  • So that guy has a....ummmmm....death fetish?

  • Aw man I thought this was a dubbed episode :( what a tease

  • Is it just me or does Maiza look kinda like Aizen from Bleach?

  • @Skullgirl2014 nope not just you. :)

  • was this ever released in english past ep.2?

  • @dyllman5 Yeah, but they took the English episodes off Youtube a little while ago to encourage you to buy the DVD's, I guess...

  • PS. I liked the red head driver....damn 8B

  • I'm loving this anime so much and I'm only on the 3rd episode x3!

As for the subbed VS dubbed question, I don't doubt hearing the proper language and accents must be much more fun but to the people whose first language isn't english it would be pretty much a headache ^^...without subtitles, the accents more than add, take from it to me since I can do english, but I'm not as good as to be able to discern what they all say if they have accents O.o..and I think I'm not the only one ^^,

  • @CountessD so for me, and for all viewers who aren't pro at english and accents, lets call it even? 8P

  • 12:59 - that hat looks adorable on Firo. :D

  • this show is soo confusing -.-

  • This is one of the few Anime that i acutally prefer the dub to subs. the accents and story just works better in english i think..

  • Thumbs up if you prefer subs over dubs!

  • @undeadbeef

Sorry, but for this series you won't get that.

  • ahhhh!!!!! Firo's voice just inst as cool in Japanese

  • sounds cooler in english -_-

  • Dude! Where is the english dubbed episodes?!? Its one of the best english dubbed animes and they took them down! If you want the english dub back thumbs up this comment!

  • @TriscuitXIII they took them down so you can buy them.

  • Comment removed

  • @TriscuitXIII

you can watch the dubs on justdubs.net. hope it helps! i love the english voices too!

  • @tarjay35 Thank YOU good sir or madame. I've been looking for a site like this for months. You're a legend.

  • @TriscuitXIII eww no. Jap subbed episodes are so much better.

  • @TriscuitXIII go to hulu they have all dubbed cuzen

  • @TriscuitXIII

No, I don't watch dubs because I'm not an entry-level fag.

  • @jddeitz2000 That doesn't even make sense.

    Go take some trolling lessons.

  • @TriscuitXIII Be glad that you can even watch it in subs.

  • @TriscuitXIII The only way to get the English dub is to buy the DVD. If you don't buy DVDs then the American distribution companies will go out of business and no more anime for us.

  • There are plenty of sites that show these things for free with the english dubs.

  • @MangaMaximum And if they didn't cost so much I would totally buy them. (And if I wasn't a poor college student.) They should accommodate for us. I know they have to make money, but if they don't lower the price, then people won't be able to buy them.

    On a side note-When did I get 234 Likes?!?!? Holy sh*t...

  • what happened to the engilsh dub?

  • why have you guys only posted the 1st two episodes dubbed and the rest subbed??

  • Isaac and Miria are a lot louder than that black woman and the black guy isn't loud or have particularly huge lips. It's just showing the difference. I don't see any racism here. You guys are over reacting. what you guy are saying is a lot more racism-ish against Japanese than this anime is.

  • I LOVE THIS ANIME SOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!! IM GONNA COSPLAY AS CHANE!!!!!! OR NICE CAUSE SHES SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL journalists with machine guns

  • First rule of the Mafia when fighting don't drop your hat, Firo rox.

  • @otakutaicho it is a very nice hat =)

  • You guys don't have a dub for this episode? :/

  • OMG xD wtf peeps whats with the whole speech?

  • LOL. Nick's the only one who tries holding up the train with a knife.

  • Laughing my brains out when they brought in the Chinese servant , they drew him differently.

  • I cant stand the way Black skinned people are portrayed in this episode....I guess Japanese people find that acceptable.

  • Anime is kind of an exaggeration of facial features, but I see where you're going with that.

  • Because apart from their skin color, black people look exactly the same as white people, am I right or am I right?

  • right

  • You're not very good at detecting sarcasm, are you?

  • lol, its text. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.

People from Africa who are black skinned do have different facial features, and a lot of them but not all have curlier hair than people from European descent. There can be different bone structure but aside from that black skinned people should not be portrayed as inferior to white skinned people because they are equally human.

  • I fail to see how they are being portrayed as "inferior".

  • I cant look at the exact scene right now but I think it was the over exagerated facial features and esp. the dialogue and how they spoke. But I see what AniVids is saying about the over exageration of facial features, but I'm not sure if I agree with that.

  • The features are there. That doesn't mean they are "exaggerated". It's not like they look like they're minstrel performers.

If the features WEREN'T there, they would still look caucasian. And there ARE naturally dark-skinned caucasians.

  • As for the mannerisms, are you saying that cultural exposure doesn't affect behavior? Many, though not all, blacks in, say, Chicago, would TEND to form an African Chicagoan subculture, as members of ethnic, racial, and religious minorities are wont to be. Such subcultures form attitudes and mannerisms which distinguish them from the dominant culture.

Racial and ethnic tolerance is about understanding and accepting differences, not claiming that we are all the same.

  • I couldn't agree more with your last statement. "Ethnic tolerance is about understanding and accepting differences, not claiming that we are all the same." I think that is really well worded too! I was thinking in general that we all have the same organs and what not underneath the skin and besides any other differences there are between the races. Within this episode, starting at about 16:15 , the maid is given an unusually loud voice. It concerns me that this voice was chosen as opposed

  • a voice that resembled the rest of the people around her. I think they went over board with her voice, highlighting the loudness of it. I also think it is fair to keep in mind that the Japanese culture does stereotype people who are blackskinned, so it is likely that she was portrayed as such because of an underlying bias the writer already had. Another thing to point out is that her lips are drawn 4 times as big as all the whiteskinned and Asian people there. Often times, Black-skinned

  • @aubman02 yes they do the japanese are pretty racists with people who are dark skinned

  • women are often the subject of stereotypes.

My overall claim is that the way she is portrayed wouldn't fairly represent people in an African Chicagoan subculture, or any other culture.

  • For some reason Isaac reminds me of Lupin the 3rd.

  • He's voiced by the same person that voiced Vash in Trigun.

  • @ThomasJS1 YES thats what ive been telling my freind but then they just say "whos that?"

  • @ThomasJS1 i literally was thinking the exact same thing

  • Thank you FOR THE AD LOL

  • OMG!! ITS AWESOME!! I LOVE YOU FUNimation!!! I hope you go to Middle Tennessee Anime Convention.. ^-^
