  • wash your rice my man :D

  • nostalgic

  • This is so inspirational. I have been body building since February and my biggest challenge is just getting enough food each day. Great vid series!

  • GOOD FOR YOU BRO ......................

  • was that chocolate syrup in your fridge?!?!?!?!

  • how long u been juicing bro?

  • @cardmastad u think he is on juice ur a dumb cnt

  • how many days would you say on avg. premade meals like this last in the fridge? I always get worried and endup throwing everything im not done outby the 3rd day haha

  • shouldnt put warm food in the fridge dumbass it grows bacteria.

  • @radman4561 Hey guess what. Guys doing a great job. So fuck you! :) K thanks. And bacteria is good for the soul yu faggot shit face hahahahahaha. ahahahah you cant even respond to this. no one likes you now. KEEP IT UP BARTHEL!

  • Thanks for the motivation JR. I like how humble you are even after all your success. By the way, what is that sausage that you cut up called? I'm going to look into it...

  • where you get your juice?

  • Words of wisdom near the final quarter of the video.

You mentioned that you like to eat healthy and have a strong lifestyle. Thus, I would suggest you replace your plastic tupperware with glass ones. Victuals that reside in plastic containers extract some toxic elements from the plastic, very dangerous to one's health. Also another recommendation I would give to you, is to try to avoid teflon coatings. Studies have show it's carcinogenic.

Just my 2 cents. Other than that, keep on going strong!

  • The one chink in your meal plan's armor, IMO: microwaving all those meals. Not only does it kill the food quality, but who really knows if the microwave ought to be used to that extent....

  • @elements1985 That too. Good outlining.

  • #INSPIRING

  • Mate buy a good product called sixpak fitness bag manager

  • oh man, this video just proves that being organised makes 'eating clean' sooo much easier! I gotta get some more containers to compete with that!

  • Is that a wok from IKEA? lol

  • you'r doing a great job man, keep up the good work.

  • I don't get why people slag this guy off. He's not exactly small, nor is he claiming to be massive. He's training to compete in a Bodybuilding competition. And sharing his tips and discoveries along the way. ....... which I find very helpful.

  • jay kinda always was huge...hes a genetic freak. but look at mark alvisi, he was scrawny when he competed in musclemania and now hes an ifbb pro and he just won his pro debut

  • Like how your vid are pretty long I hate when vid end in like 2 or 3 min

  • Nice Wok haha

  • i dont know why people are so mean about his weight and muscle! i think he looks pretty damn big and his videos are really good!

  • you the man barthel!

  • this guy is a bodybuilder? he's going to compete?!! ROFL!!!!

  • @havemercybabe

Yeah, he did. Placed 5th overall. Looked damn good...

  • Hey just a question barthelfitness im eating steak but have no idea what healthy option to eat with it also what sauce would be good to go with it which isnt fattening.

  • what's your background in nutrition? I never understood why I see bodybuilders get their carbs from white rices and pastas. Why does it not matter whether you get white or brown?

  • not sure what to say, your tips help me out a lot so i guess my comment helps make you a bit of money

  • i'm very allergic to shrimp and all other shellfish also mollusks too so those are outta the question, when i start my bodybuilding journey i will be eating eggs, chicken beef and fish for my protein food sources

  • how much food should i eat, i weigh 125 and i eat just normal foods, apple jacks, donuts, skittles, lol jk i eat mostly at dinner and sometimes (rarely) i eat at breakfast and lunch, im not fat i guess but i do have a small protruding stomach, im lost completely and i need guidence lol help

  • dude ur my new fav on youtube. so true that everyone starts somewhere..before summer started i was 153 now im 164 just dont give up.

  • @soulfoodmonkey never will! thanks man!

  • I love all your videos.

If you don't mind me asking i'm wondering how much money you make personal training, and how much money your gym makes?

Just wondering because I may want to do the exact thing you do with starting a gym and personal training.

  • @Dale9119 while I will not say exactly how much I make I will say this, most trainers cant make it because they cant MARKET THEMSELVES. You need to make a name for yourself, I make a great living for a young individual. I wont say the exact number but I make more then the average american with a 4 year degree :). So life is good, in fact I prolly make more money from youtube then most trainers make with my online coaching program! Theres money in it, if you work for it

  • i got a question you been using shrimp when your eating out and people are by you they dont comment on the smell>?

  • Cool man, good luck!

  • Hows that M5 working out for you? Ive been thinking of switching to it from jack3d

  • @adrianBOSS69 its awesome, plus barthelfitness people get a discount by entering barthelfitness at the checkout @ wwwDOTcellucorDOTcom

closest thing to jack3d in fact, i might like it better...;)

  • @barthelfitness @barthelfitness have you tried 1 M.R. or presurge? They both use geranium stem like the jack3d but with a little better overall formulas. I'm curious to try the M5

  • @barthelfitness Eh man dude I went to GNC to buy some M5, but the guy asked me if I want to get bigger. I said no I'm looking to cut weight, and he said I shouldn't get it. I was surprised as I thought it was pre-workout supplement. I got the Jack3d Whit rasberry instead, but I wanted to get the M5. What should I do?

  • @SahijApple93 don't buy from GNC... they get paid on comission and have to push certain products so they get their bonuses. I worked with a guy who used to work their and told me they will try to tell customers anything to get them to buy what they're pushing. Buy what you want, that's what it all comes down to, but do your research

  • @SahijApple93 Don't buy from GNC, they get commission on certain products they need to push. Best bet is to do your research and find the product you think works for you...

  • @adrianBOSS69 u could always just do u know like a month or 2 of jack3d then take a off a couple of weeks then try to m5 and u know just kinda mess around u dont have to take jack3d for the rest of ur life lol

  • try emerald balance greens it tastes awesome it's a natural minty flavor. I work at a vitamin shoppe so hit me up if you want to know about the latest and greatest

  • @karma12321

Then i have a question: could you list a few brands of multivitamins, for people that train? barthelfitness said in one of his vids that there are multitabs that contains higher % of certain vitamins and minerals.... now i live in Finland, so i prolly don't have acces to all of the brands. But i would appreciate it greatly!

    -Peace-

  • @ThePorritZ A lot of the training oriented multis aren't bad. Animal Pak is the standard if you don't mind taking a handful of pills or Anavite by Gaspari which has beta alanine and carnitine for muscle endurance and fat burning. I recommend Vitamin Code Men by Garden of Life. Its a four a day raw, wholefood multivitamin in a vegi cap and has really everything you need for a multi. Wholefood multivitamins usually absorb better because they're from food sources. Hope this helps!

  • @karma12321 Thanks fort the long reply!!;)

wow, i actually know of Garden of Life... and i think i can get ahold of here:D

Thanks again man u the best

  • lol ok you explained it later in the video but for newer viewers lol ..explain it at the beginning .

    what competition ?

  • what is this journey for? ...

You should explain at the beginning so new viewers like myself will know lol ..

keep doin yo thing ..but i just wanna know what this journey is ...are you competing ?

  • @joekimusic i am competing in may, i have a video on my channel explaining this! thanks for watching!

  • who is filming ??

  • @ballzyification I have a few people who will be filming me for these videos especially in the gym videos!

  • Just a quick tip, Those Green Paks are mainly for extra supplement, not a substitution, but if you do miss your meals with vege's or fruit then those vitamins/minerals consumed in the paks will make up for you missing out on them. Dont cut all of your veges out bro. Good work on the vids but, good way to motivate the fellow people around you. Ill be sure to check out the rest on your journey and good luck.

  • @kenardy I am fully aware! In fact not sure if you ever herd me inform my viewers but im more then a personal trainer, im a nutritionist! :)

  • Good luck man. Glad i found your vids they are great inspiration!

  • @petrifeyed thanks! hope they help out and motivate!

  • awesome video man, well said

  • @TheMartialWay100 sooo glad I can help motivate my friend! Thanks!

  • i saw the Cellucor M5 in the backround is that good stuff in your opinion?

  • @MrCMG03 best preworkout ive ever taken to be honest

  • you seem to work very hard and be really disciplined with your diet and everything. What' is your current bf% right now?

  • @rsx06 12ish, this is an ideal bodyfat for me, i feel good, feel strong still lean!

  • Does anyone know what kind of white rice he is using in this video any help is preciated thanks

  • @TexasAmateur i say it in the video but maybe you missed it, basmati rice, its amazing

  • As an ectomorph I can't get enough of white rice, allows me to eat a good sized and balanced meal every 2.30hrs.

  • good luck in May JR!

btw can you use low fat milk as a source of casein? as i know liquids typically absorb faster into the bloodstream than solids.

also i think im gonna steal your idea of cooking in bulk and storing ready to eat for later

  • @Hoontae you can use milk, its not the best source, id opt for cottage cheese!

  • everybody has a startin point amen man i'm a hater too i hate your good looks, muscles and confidence haha lookin forward to vids man hope to learn alot bout supps, gym nd stuff

  • wait so if you're doing the natural MN show in May,.....don't you think it's a little too soon to start contest prep....32 weeks out?

  • wait so if you're doing the natural MN show in May,.....don't you think it's a little too soon to start contest prep....32 weeks out?

  • @tuxedoman34 I never said I was in contest prep yet, ill start that in feb.

  • Im just leaving a comment because you said you get paid for it blah blah mr. O blah blah this weekend blah blah!!!

  • ultimately, i think it is best to compete against yourself. that there are even such epic bodybuilders out there is proof of what is possible. keep rocking it, J.

i started out 3 months ago at 256 lbs, 36+% fat (i know) ... and am currently 234 lbs, 27% fat. I will consider easing up once i am 12%. youtube peeps like you keep me on track and truly appreciating the process. you take the time to help.

enjoy the journey. earn the destination.

  • @omniges your the reason i do it, your the reason I dont give up. Thanks for YOUR inspiration on me! It goes hand in hand, great job!

  • Any particular brand that you'd recommend for the frozen shrimp?

  • @nextbigthing I get mine typically from sams club, costco, or target

  • @barthelfitness Unfortunately around here Target is too far and at the regular supermarkets shrimp is way too expensive. I've always wanted to do other things besides chicken but it seems like chicken and beef are the only things that are really affordable.

  • you pack your food for 6 days ahead?

  • @fizwizx Sometimes but usually just a few days at a time to help keep it fresh

  • lol just mix the green pak with your shake in the morning, not that bad!

  • great videos dude. looking forward to this series!

  • Hey I like the comments you had for the haters. Its like people try to discourage you and the goals that you are trying to reach. Keep your head up and keep up the hard work!!

  • @95melefante why was it spamed thought it was a good question
