So curious-How big was this retic?Well fed and surprising how persuasive she seems to be when she wants to go where she wants.You do not handle her when completely alone do u.If your answer is yes.Well statistics are that 99% have no problems.Unless she senses you are afraid and their are cases where this type will almost stretch as high as your face and one bite you are done for.I have heard all their is on caring for the Retic,That 1% usually happens very unexpectadly

It's strange how owners of huge snakes mostly seem to keep them in vivariums with no substrate, no plants or branches, or rocks etc to create a bit of their natural habitat for them.

@JaenAlbatros It's not very strange. The reason is that big snakes tend to ruin everything you give them, flip it over or break it. As for the substrate, if you use aspen shavings or similar you usually spot clean it, when these snakes takes a poop however you'd have to bring a nice sized shovel to clean it out. If you use a substrate like newspaper or in this case a towel, you simply remove that and in the newspaper case replace it or with towels switch it for a clean towel.

Although I would never want a snake that gets this size (I like to stick to my BPs and such) she is gorgeous animal! And she seems very docile and calm. Really looks like she is very well taken care of and that's always good to see!  Thank you for sharing!

looking at how she reacts to your presence, she does in fact look like she is acting in the same way a dog does, (Minus the legs of course!!) shes a beautiful snake, massive but incredibly friendly.
