Movie was so self-refering. Like the whole time reminding the viewer its the simpsons movie. I fucking know, that thats the title of it. The plot was so amazingly stupid. Its supposed to be a show about real problems made jokes, not dumb script made dumber. That dome thing was so worthless, like made by a 13 year old. The show hardly gets so un-realistic in terms of intelligence. The govt wanted to bomb the town? Never in an episode ull find something as dumb and fake...

In the quest for making more money by making the movie family rated the show got dumbed down into that... Homers supposed to be dumb, but not to such extent... only worth part of the plot was the flanders/bart relation but theres also an episode about that so nothing new... I remember the show's jokes were for adults, sometimes subtle, but the movie lacked intelligence so much...

but wasn't there some cel-shaded 3d animation in the movie? for instance the vehicles this trailer. well maybe they're perfectly animated, maintaining a completey solid appearance while having to be drawn from a slightly different perspective every time, but i doubt it. after all, they use computer animation on lots of large objects in Futurama.
