drifting is like impossible, i havent played ashpalt, but am planning to, i disagree with jdmike cuz this game is completely dif.

First off its to seem like more realistic, in some aspects not the speed tho. I like the game, and there are way more cars, if u like the arcadic look tho, definitly hit up ashpalt or my other game Raging thunder(racing) it just has like 3 cars as a downside :-( but its 1.99 instead of 5 bucks

I have Asphalt and FastLane. I think Asphalt is better because the cars are licensed (Nissan, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, Ducati, etc...) and Fast Lane has make believe cars. You can fix up your cars too in Asphalt like exhaust, rims, suspension, like a real car. FastLane has fake futuristic cars, but has better graphics. I like Asphalt better, I dont even play Fast Lane its collecting dust inside my iPod.

For the record, Fastlane Street Racing IS based on Chicane for the Gizmondo. Atod AB developed Chicane while owned by Gizmondo, and secured the rights to the game after Gizmondo collapsed. When the App Store came along it seemed like a perfect fit and the same developers that worked on Chicane put together Fastlane Street Racing. This is not a rip-off, this is a case of a small team of developers finally getting their work out to the public.

This game made me appreciate having an ipod touch!

Best racing game so far, and putting it in comparison with Asphalt is TOTALLY UNFAIR!

You will begin enjoying this game when u master ur drifts by:

1-Knowing the track very well.

2-Picking a suitable car (with a high BALANCE and CORNERING value)

3-Increasing the TILT SENSITIVITY a bit more than the half.

4-Hitting the sharp turns in the right time.

The REPLAY, and the option of SAVING it, gave this game more value.

It worth every penny!

anybody know when NFS is coming out? i heard its tomorrow, and i also heard that its being released in december... ugh... in the meantime, this is a great racing game to fill my hunger for an adrenaline pumping racing game... AMAZING graphics by the way... hopefully EA will see the success of this game and not charge a ridiculous amount of money for NFS.

Wow geez those graphics are insane for a phone. Reminds me closely of PSP graphics due to the close resemblance to that of Ridge Racer on PSP.. Even the real-time'ish lighting is very well done! Can't wait!

the game has been submitted to Apple. As soon as they approve it it will be available in the app store for $5.99. Unfortunately we don't know exactly when that will be, and I don't dare speculate.
