Thanks for showing the amphibians. you found alot. I have a pond but it is only habitat to 9 common frogs at the minute. I know that a place nearby to me used to be home to the great crested newt but I wonder if they still live thnere? I used to have common toads at my grandma's and in my dads old quarry. Any way thanks for the video! Toadoy98
great vid!i've watched lots of yor vids and really enjoyed them.I'm quite in2 amphibians at the mo and i have a pond in my garden with alot of frogs and a few newts
Hello mate, wow, thanks for the comment, way too kind, but about the nicest thing anyone's said to me! I'm just doing what I love and if people enjoy watching it and maybe learn a couple of things, that makes me happy too. Thanks alot mate,
Anytime, thanks for the entertainment. I watched all your videos and really enjoyed them all. I don't get much time nor chance to explore UK widelife especially living Bristol. I do have a nice pond, plenty of frogs, damselflys, pond skaters and water boatman but unfortunaly toads are rare (too many main roads) and the newts we used to have fled, probably because we have too many fish now due to them breeding all the time.
Having said that I'm lucky enough to have been abroad a fair few times. I've been to S.Africa 7 times (my Mums from SA) and Zimbabwe once (Victoria falls aswell). I see you got a treat of a safari in SA, fantastic stuff. My faveourite had to be a bush baby I saw at night! My other faves were chameleons, praying mantis and seeing a rain spider (beast) being attacked by a huge hornet that lays it's larvae in the spider! Also saw lots of widelife in Mount Ranier national park near Seattle USA.
Wow, u really have been around abit! Great stuff. I've been to Africa a few times and I know I could spend a lifetime there and still be fascinated and surprised by turning over a rock out there. But yer, I never really saw very much UK wildlife before I started filming it. I think our Grass Snakes have to be one of the most underated reptiles going! Great chatting mate. Keep up the travelling,
i caught a slowworm in calne.
it was a snakelike lizard with very small legs.that was in 1989. do you still find them around
