That is why in Canada it is Easter Monday. I think in America (not sure about everywhere else) celebrates it on Sunday for convenience? I really don't know.

Speaking of good friday, why do they always do it on a friday? Shouldn't the holiday be on the actual date that jesus died, and not the friday? though oddly enough nissan 14 (the day jesus died) did end up being on friday this year. well thursday night considering the day started at night according to the lunar calendar the jews used.

Yeah, that always bothered me too. Actually, it was more like a day and a half, since he died on Friday afternoon and rose on Sunday morning. It even says that it was Sabbath . . . the span of a day . . . that he was in the tomb. So yeah . . . stupid people. That's the problem with being "down with G-O-D" I guess. =)
