I really miss tribes 2. I was extremely lucky to be part of the community. It was year 2001, I played using my 56k modem on 64 player server without much lag. The netcode was so advanced it wasn't true. A game with such emphasis on Jet packs, teamwork, strategy, vehicular warfare that predates Unreal Tournament 2004, Halo was just mind blowing god's creation.

Its a game called Tribes 2, it gave birth to most modern shooters of its genre, you can fly in ships, you can even fly you with your get pack, most of the guns and effects where all above there time, But don't take it just from me. Go download it, its free and well you be surprised just how much that it can even still compete verse other games. Closest game to it would UT 2003.

i had the same problem with warcraft 3, didnt have a cd key but i bought it legally, if you search things like tribes 2 serial portal or tribes 2 serial number code. and diffrent things like that you can find a website that will generate random codes for free and no download. so now i can finally play warcraft 3 =)

Tribes (or any good FPS) without a mouse is not mouse. And especially in the case of Tribes... no keyboard is NO GO.

My keyboard settings required a lot of keys and I used SHIFT, CTRL and SHIFT+CTRL modifiers.

In Tribes 1, the highest player count I played back in 1999 was 64. (Renegade MOD CTF 32 vs 32) IIRC in Tribes 2 I ran into higher count but on some maps it turned into a clusterfuck.
