The reason most young people are Democrats is that they are more easily influenced. Once they realize how bad they are being lied to and screwed they usually become Republicans. That is a major difference between Dems And Republicans. Experience. They convince you that Dems are more Intelligent so you have something to be proud of. And mud to sling across the aisle. Look at Pelosi's actions this weekend. She thinks it's her House. It's not. It's YOUR House.

Look at Aspartame. Want to lose weight by drinking diet sodas? Ya, don't light that cigarette but drink a six pack of diet cola a day. You'll be healthy in no time.

Want to get healthy by growing a garden? MMMmm enjoy the chemicals that are sprayed each week to help kill insects. Gotta love pesticide filled food.

I agree with the importance of protecting the freedom to take risks in our lifestyles. At the same time, the government campaign against tobacco over the past decades has been significantly successful in lowering tobacco related deaths, and it's hard to be against that.
