@Emariella There are hedgehogs breeders. Only special kinds of hedgehogs are allowed as pets though, so don't just catch a wild one, that's illegal and he'll suffer.

You can search for a trustworthy hedgehog breeder on the internet, but they aren't all that cheap. ;3

@Emariella I don't live in the states, so unfortunately, I don't know any American breeders, but I'm sure that you'll find many with Google. The most famous pet hedegehogs species are the Four-toed Hedgehog (African Pygmy Hedgehog) and the Long-eared hedgehog. They are both very cute. And no, they don't shoot squills or something. :D (nor do porcipines, by the way, that's just a rumour)

@uhesj Assuming hedgehogs are capable of being annoyed, they are always annoyed. Mine won't even come out of her grumpy ball phase until 2 a.m. and even then takes another hour to warm up to me again. Despite keeping her in the same environment, socializing her daily, having her sleep with my t-shirts, etc. It's a natural defense and if you're going to have multiple pets, it's a good idea to introduce them under supervision.

Might help to analyse everything before asking that, this is a hedgehog and a dog being raised in the same household. The hedgehog is ignoring the dog and the dog wants to play around.

They are allowing the dog and the hedgehog to interact and there is no scaring of any animal in the video, it is an inevitability that animals will interact in the same household and should be encouraged for animals to become familiar.

First, your Frenchie is adorable, I have 2 Bostons. Second, my Bostons co-exist with my albino hedgehog and it took a little getting used to, including the hedgehog and dogs being supervised while the dogs spazzed out and the hedgie was completely protected by her BACK OF QUILLS. I am all for protecting animals and standing up for them whenever someone is doing wrong, but this puppy is not hurting that hedgehog, people are close by and if the puppy gets too close, lesson learned.
