  • THIS WAS ANOTHER CHICAGO CUT THAT I NEVER KNEW WHO MADE IT BUT ALWAYS LOVED THE HELL OUT OF THIS ONE TOO!

  • Do you know how long I've been looking for this song???!!! I couldn't remember the name of the group. Now I find out that I grew up literally blocks from the group. Wow!! Guess I'll check out their show when I'm in Vegas this summer. Thanks for posting this music!!!

  • is this available on Itunes? How do find a download version of it? Cant find it on Shazam

  • is this available on Itunes? How do find a download version of it?

  • MAN, TALK ABOUT CHICAGO MEMORIES......THIS IS ONE SONG THAT REPRESENTS THE SOUTHSIDE, IN PARTICULAR AND THE CITY AS A WHOLE IN THAT ERA. EVEN IF IT IS PLAYED NOW, PEOPLE FROM THAT ERA WOULD APPRECIATE IT. IT IS A HUGE STEPPERS CUT. MUCH APPRECIATIVE TO PAULLEMONIDIS FOR POSTING THIS GEM. JUST A BROTHA FROM ENGLEWOOD THAT LOVES GOOD MUSIC

  • @LEEFROMTHELAND They were out around the same time as Magnum Force, I wish the radio stations would play more these oldies.

  • @dacuffo ANOTHER CHI-TOWN GROUP THAT RIPPED IT

  • These Chicago guys were good! They still perform in Vegas... However, some of the original members are missing. Stateway Gardens!

  • Classic! Fo Tha Steppas!!!

  • Rare track but played by ROBBIE VINCENT way back in the early 1980s on, guess what, BBC Radio 1 in stereo VHF on Sunday nights.

  • This is as rare as it is awesome to find! Thanks for posting this. Been looking for this for many many years!!

  • Wow! I've been looking for this song forever! These guys were a great part of the 80s music in Chicago and can now be seen in Vegas! I think "More Love" is their best hit ever and the group can be compared to other soulful groups like One Way, The Dramatics, and many more. The originals, Samuel Thomas Jr. and Carnell Haywood, are some of the best vocalists ever! I lost my original tape of their recordings and would love to get another copy. You guys are definitely missed!

  • almost made me cry ...

  • Sam thomas used to be the lead singer for the group i was in called THE MAGIC FOUR &THE MANTATIONS, This was back in the early 70's he was in grammar school and the rest of us all went to Calumet High on the southside of Chicago, we also did all the talent shows in the area with the Jackson 5 who had not made it big yet.

  • this Group started out in the projects of stateway gardens of chicago there was so much talent in that area it was insane this is just one example.

  • I hope that this song will be on limewire soon.

  • I am looking for it on CD, or even better yet if I could down load it off of another site that would be better.

  • you should be able to find it on CD on those Chit-town steppers complation
