  • I AM THOR

  • Thor Polysonic Synthesizer is only for reason or i can bui it for ableton?

  • Is it me, or did the mouse arrow get stuck and started to clone himself? XD

  • check out my tunes using reasin 4

  • I cant get thor to quit loading pre set patches. I want to start from scratch and it wont let me. Fuck reason!

Sonar 8, lennar digital sylenth1 bitch!

  • go into preferences, then general tab.tick the circle empty rack and then click at the bottom, load default sound in new devices.make sure thats off;)

  • Initialize Patch...

  • sylenth1 is sh*t compared to this

  • right click initialize patch

  • Can you make synth loops in reason without an external midi device or instrument?

  • Yes, i use Bome's Mouse Keyboard.

  • of course

  • i dont think it turned on the stereo tremolo when you pressed C3..lol

  • HOLY CRAP tell me this isn't the same Jeff Dykhouse who taught history at my old school!!!

  • I don't think it s.

  • hahahahah that would be creapy actually. None of my teachers would have ended up programing the thor. Damn.

  • I really love the youtube-comments like this..

  • i can't believe i'm gonna waste my time replying to such a moron. but just for shit n giggles... i have 3 keyboards, and i have an akai mpd24, and countless other shit that you'll never even be able to afford, let alone know how to use. i don't even fucking know what you're saying or bitching about. learn how to fucking talk and type. and i think you called this program cheap? it costs between 400-500 dollars..... you're retarded as fuck. don't bother replying.

  • you muppet, shut your fucking canister

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • i said buy this................

    douche.

    -_-

  • what a retard.

  • Thor looks soo complicated. Kinda intimidating, anyone got some good tutorials on thor???

  • Compared to most DAWs, Reason is quite simple. Just play around with it and read the manual.

  • buy it?

  • Burn the image of the app onto a DVD..then start app..then it will work

  • sorry but wat is the app if u dont mind?

  • app = the application/software (Reason) burn that to a disc and leave it in your machine when you first start up the application

  • buy the program you cheat bastard

  • this shit sound like THE real shit this is a fuckin toy waste of time and money

  • this is sad that im the first in 7 months to address the video itself, but thanks a lot; this really helped.

  • You're angry, even for a troll.

  • I'm not really angry like the troll, more a momentarily malcontented wookie smacking down a comment directed at me earlier. So what does that make you...a happy go lucky hobbit?

  • I was talking to koksukay dude.

    ;)

  • ok...now it all makes sense :)

  • Every word you dribble out screams inexperience. Besides Thor, I own several real analog synths, Moog among others. These "amazing" sounding synths, placed in your hands would no doubt produce no really "amazing" sounds either. Because you want all the work done for you. Translation: Novice loud mouth idiot likes preset #32 only. Interpretation: Utterly clueless cry baby. Keep on that path, looking all over the internet, while the rest of us are creating amazing sounds with whatever we got.

  • You think reason is expensive? If your realm of experience/point of reference for anything is based on youtube, you need to sit down and have along chat with yourself before engaging your mouth. Reason CAN produce some great sounds, like anything else you have to put the time in and have the other gear, talent, and experience, required for any system soft synth or hardware, to produce great sounds. But I'm sure you know all that already. "all over youtube" ...hilarious.

  • good tut untill someone bummed him at the end

  • "Dykhouse"?? hahahaha! how many times did you get beat up in high school?

  • thor is not very good. TI Virus is so so so much better.

  • In one of the Reason tutorial segments on the HowAudio site I compare the Virus A, Nord Lead, Pro-One, & Thor. I compare raw oscillators and filters. The results were surprising!

  • Dude, Reason for goes for $400 complete, Virus TI goes for over $3000, desktop for $1500. Yeah the virus kicks ass, but the reason refills emulating it for Reason are surprizingly convicing and usable. For those of us that can't afford a Moog Voyager to sit next our Virus TI's, what do you suggest? lol.

  • i just use reason, lol

  • Yeah Propellerhead have no idea(sarcasm)

  • Virus TI

  • FL 7 works great in combination with Reason. FL isn't cpu heavy, either. it works fine, even on my crappy AMD Athlon XP 1600. (with asio drivers, of course.)

and idk why, but Sonar and Ableton both didn't work on my computer. maybe i did something wrong, but i get no sound from them at all.

  • are you kidding FL7 is crazy comp heavy Reason is the way to go synths cleaner recycle is better then beatslicer and the quality of sound much better

  • yeah right...

  • obviously you dont get the applications of reason. ITS NOT A DAW. it doesnt need vst support. sure you can make tracks with reason, but it works best as a plungin. not to mention its WAY less CPU heavy than most VST synths/effects so you can use way more devices per instance of the application. so in other words, shut up! you dont know what youre talking about do you?

  • i dont get this ?(

  • Im selling my protools 7.4 any takers hit me up...$240

    mm*

  • I use Logic and Love it! But think Ableton would be nice though, you can do some deep stuff with it!

  • ableton live, pro tools, logic, cubase; theyre all great DAWs. REASON IS NOT A DAW. it is a midi sequencer/synth, drum machine & effect rack. it shouldn't be compared with the rest of them. reason is the bomb for those of you who want very nice samples, versatile synths, samplers, drum machines, mixing/mastering effects, and a streamlined sequencer. and most importantly it plugs into ANY DAW throught rewire. i have used all the major DAWs and i like logic 8 personally but is all preference.

  • I agree the reason is good at what it does but great at everything you need to use protools or editing program to master the individual sounds

  • most of the good software are really expensive

  • go for ableton... best out.. pro tools and logic is lame.. old school.,, only thing futuristic is ableton..

  • just go bye PRO TOOLS

  • nice

  • wtf?

  • Great brain.

  • nice thing to know!

  • this is nice

  • it was good but I just am not into many informational stuff but still 4/5 it served it purpose but its just I don't know ... ^^

  • this is pretty cool. but i saw deejayzyx has some videos using cubase, reason, rebirth, controllers and other stuff

  • erm

  • c-o-o-l ¥

  • Cool. Too bad I don't have Reason.

  • Don't have port forwarding so my upload/download ratio sucks.
