I am 15 year old, typically most teens don't listen to christian music, God has change me i finally able to tell my life. I am popular at my school, but i have learning disabilities and i never get why it was me why this why everything, but then i realize, god made me the way i am. but i am one of the few, and my life would be no where it is today without god by my side. <3 he is good.

This song honestly made me stop in my tracks the first time I heard it. Sadly our society has changed love into something totally different from God's original love. It's hard, especially as a teenage girl, not to get caught up in what the world tells us love is. This song is a great reminder of the true love Jesus has for us <3
Good song.. But I'd like to point out that 1 John 4:16 states "God is Love".. So, God is unmoving and uncomsuming? Because God=Love and Love=uncomsuming and unmoving??

At the first verses, He says, if You came up to me in the street and told me to come with me" When Jesus was gathering his disciples, he did this to Matthew, the tax collector. At the end of the chorus, it says "Father of Love, You can have me" God is made up of 3 parts: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. So, im pretty sure He's talking bout God.

It's "unconsuming" because many times we tell God we love Him and there's absolutely nothing behind that.. May our love for Him consume our every moment, and may we never cease to be moved by His love for us.

I went to a church camp last summer. I was so scared to give my heart to God cause what if I didn't keep my word I was so scared that I would brake my word. This song is what I was feeling. But a miracle happend at the church camp and God overwhelmed me with his love and I was just sobbing. That night I said God I give my life to you take it. I gave him my heart just like in this song:') I love you Jesus I once again say here is my heart take it:)
ill admit Jesus and god did most of the work. They grabbed me and held me in there arms. When ever i felt helpless and tried to get away they held on. There is no doubt in my mind that they will never let me go and i can never thank them enough for that. You loved me when I hated myself you showed me how strong i could be as long as i believed you made me realize how great life is when your living in Christ. your love is moving your love is consuming. i know you love me more than i could imagine
@kskidspastor I have read parts of that book and it's super good! I am definitely further along now in how to process what happened to me then I was 2 months ago (by God's grace). The best book I've read on Christianity and suffering though, is Exquisite Agony by Gene Edwards. Thank you for your recommendation though, that book is really good too. lol.

I can't articulate right now what I'm going through, what I'm feeling, or what my heart cries for, but this song definitely puts it together for me. I need to get to this place in my walk with Christ. I need to get to the place where I am desperate for Him ALWAYS!
@LUVINJC08 Can I recommend a book to you? Crazy Love by Francis Chan is an awesome book that I think everyone can benefit from. Our church just finished a study on it and it has been life changing. You can find some of his videos on youtube too.

I too have always been into heavy music. then in 2007 i started having a spiritual awakening, its been happening ever since. ironic to see your name too with the double 7's in it. i see them everywhere so i typed in "meaning of 77" in to google and found that if you number the alphabet a =1 b=2 etc.... c+h+r+i+s+t=77. :D
