I've only played the Nintendo 64 version, it's obvious this one is better, though I hear it doesn't have the Black Dogs missions. Do you know where I can buy this game online?
I remember when I played this when it first came out and how that experience is still strong in my memory. I might try it again and see if the gameplay will win over the graphics.
Yes, it's possible that certain graphical add-ons were made to the CD...though I do doubt it. It could in fact be some revised version of the CD (version 1.1?) since it included certain graphical improvements (such as the round Grizzly and Czar barrel as well as the improved Grizzly V-Thruster). But as far as I know, the weapon values and other non-version changing stuff are the same as in the very first CD release.
And wow, I didn't know that Ken Miller was doing that. That's extremely nice of him. BZ2 is still being worked on primarily by Nathan (GSH), but it's nice to see some life to BZ1 as well. Some improved graphics and stuff (audio for example?) would be awesome, as well as bug fixes etc etc.
The game is from 1998. These graphics were way beyond their time, and these are the best BZ1 has to offer. The reason I included the phrase "Good graphics" in the video name is because all other BZ1 videos on YouTube seem to have lower graphical settings, so people get the wrong image of what BZ1 can offer visually.
Yes I do. However, I think it looked like that already before I turned it on years ago. Maybe the value was 0 or something.
And the fire dot disappearing problem is no big deal to me, as I play realistic games (IL-2, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 1941-45, among others) anyway, so I'm used to that sort of thing.

Great video, but the original BZ off the CD didn't have the Large Assets patch. :P
BTW Ken Miller is working on 1.5 and already fixed some major issues with the Zbuffer and a few other things. :D See you on the BZ1 forums.

@FFulmenTheFinnish I'm sure you've been asked this before but how did you modify the graphics?

You have ZBuffer on, I turn it off mainly because that when you take damage the fire dot disappears.
