  • I like to think that Tammy's beneath her painted sky

  • loved it.

  • This is one of mt all time favorite Tammy songs... Never tire of it :-)

  • Thank you for this song by Tammy. She can make one cry with this song....she was truly the very best that ever lived. She had it all! RIP Tammy we love you for ever.

  • my daddy painted me a sky on my ceiling when i was little and i still lay under the painted sky. when my momma told me about this song i cried.

  • This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The lyrics cut to the bone, and the (basic) country melody hooks you in. To top it off, Emmylou's voice is brilliantly used as the key hook to whole thing!

  • THIS A BEUTIFULL SONG. THIS IS HOW A CHILD SHOW GROW UP.... NO FEARS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS HER LITTLE GRANDAUGHTER. I THINK HER NAME IS SOPHIA. .....

  • this is my favorite of all of Tammy's recordings. love the Emmylou Harris harmony,

  • What a class act Tammy was. She was quite a country lady and is sorely missed in the country music business. I sure do miss seeing and hearing from her. She reminds me of my mother and they're both up there in heaven together, probably hitting it off.

  • one of my most favorite of her newer songs growing up. hard to believe she's been gone 12 yrs :(

  • Tammy and Sophia!

  • Just to let everyone know...April 6, 1998 we lost a TRUE legend Mrs. Tammy Wynette...She is my hero forever and always (And I'm only 13 years old) I love Tammy. She is a TRUE singer. I love this kind of music. Writing about her life and why we lost her? We'll never know. That's gonna be my first question when I get up there to Heaven. Tammy is a in a WAY better place now! May she Rest in Peace forever

    1942-1998

    1942-FOREVER!!! Love you Tammy!

  • One of my all time favorites of Tammy.

Loved it when I first saw her perform it

on TV on TNN...can't remember the name

    of the program.

RIP dear Tammy, you were One Of A Kind and we will always miss you.

  • that is indeed her grandaughter and that is Tammy's home.

  • the harmony vocals are by Emmy Lou Harris

  • It's too bad they couldn't have worked Emmy into the video, but then it was fun watching Tammy play with the little girl who I presume is her granddaughter.

  • The first lady of country music
