  • evil

  • videos like this need to go viral

  • Totalitarian capitalism doesn't like to acknowledge the existence of the poor and the homeless.

Orlando seems to be going for the Japanese "out of sight, out of mind" approach to the problem of inequality.

  • we were born into this way of living, there are many other ways that we can live that would balance everything out,,, or we can just keep living this way and wait till all this falls... than it's up the the meek to start over the right way hopfully...

  • we need to riot everytime we witness the police abuse their powers

  • fake and gay

  • I really feel sorry for those cops we're conducting these arrest , I petty them and are the voters on this mayor must be REALLY proud on implementing a plicy like this !!!

  • I think this is awesome, I don't agree with the whole food is a right thing. What I believe what we do have is the right to help people and not have to worry about going to jail for it.... "Hey it's ok if you feed a couple homeless guys just not more than 25 cause we don't want those things in our parks scaring the tourist" Also does anyone else think it's wrong that the guy who flicked the judge off in that murder case got sent to jail and like a 600 dollar fine?

  • another perfect opportunity squandered

  • Every one of these pigs should be shot in the face in the line of duty. This is OUR park and WE pay for it as well as their salaries. Orlando's finest "protecting and serving" on our tax dollars. Fucking pussies aren't shit without their badges and backup.

  • i wish the cops would of started screaming stop resisting and started slamming the hippies on the ground. that would of made my day. Damn hippies.

  • Why in the world are the police SEARCHING THEM? They're giving food to others! Not running around like a maniac gunning the people down! The police are so mean -.-'

  • ..not to bash the efforts of those involved in this project, but I didn't see anyone who appeared to be "homeless" person at the event. All I saw was a bunch of overprivileged suburban college kids. Don't get me wrong, it's a noble premise - but it seems the event was just rife with hipsters who wanted to enjoy the social scene surrounding it.

  • @davethehostage I tried to interview a couple of the homeless folks but they were a bit reluctant to go on camera with their views. Watch it again, and a few of the other videos provided by Orlando Cop Watch, and you'll see there are a good mix of working/lower class people and homeless people who attend FNB.

  • @davethehostage

right. because over privileged college kids don't have the right to share food in the park.

  • @zwest135 No, you're missing the point. I was suggesting that the only ones I saw EATING the food were the overprivileged college kids. There's nothing wrong with them enjoying the food. It's just that the event was directed towards feeding lower class/homeless citizens, and I didn't see anyone who appeared to be "homeless" partaking in the event.

  • Love the twit reporter's question: "If the city says it's against the law, why do it?" Better do what your parent tells you, you know they're always right. And BTW, I have to get some juicy footage for tonights infotainment.

  • Lack emotions or open criticism in reporting does not equal lack of bias, it simply hides it. The failure of mainstream media is less apparent to many, because they often don't come right out and say what they support. What is opposed is taken out of context or simply ignored. Your "strident" tone is an authentic response to what occurred, and your clear POV makes the reporting more transparent, and from my biased perspective, refreshing. Keep up the good work.

  • To me,I see this as a Class war! So Who's side are you going to be on ? Will you side with a bad law ? Or will you take the time to make a sign and march for what is right ?..One thing is for sure ,if we do nothing, they that are in power will walk all over us, if we let them. I ask myself this question, what would Jesus do? He would rick arrest and feed the needy and would stand up for the homeless, even give His Life for them....So I ask again, what will you do ?

  • Cops will do this, just think what they will do when they get orders to shoot down protesters like around the world now. Its really time to take our country back, lets not forget, all these cops like their big pay checks and will do anything to keep it. Looks like this is going to cost Orlando a lot more than they realize, right now people need to show their support for these kids, after all its going to be their country very soon no matter what happens today, it will be their city in the future

  • FUCK THE POLICE.

    WOOT 666 VIEWS!

  • FUCK THE POLICE.

  • good writing, good storytelling, video unnecessarily shaky, tone of narration too strident, can I use your vids on the ridley report?

  • @RidleyReport I do appreciate the constructive criticism and compliments. And you're more than welcome to use any of our videos on the Ridley Report! =)

  • 'I was hungry and you gave me bread' 'whatever you have done to these you have done to me who is in them' "Lord, when did we visit you in prison? Shut up and put your hands behind your back Jesus. You are under arrest. I solemnly swear, that I will support and defend any law that discriminates against people based on financial ability, and any law that abridges the right of citizens to gather in public and share food, so help me god." Every nazi tried for warcrimes was only doing his job.

  • Don't mistake this as a defense of the unjust laws or the actions of the police, but food is neither a right nor a privilege. It is a product of labor that can be sold, traded, exchanged, and given away freely. To the cop saying, "It's not my choice. It's just my job," and to all the cops who claim, "I'm just doing my job," when they enforce unjust laws: If your job requires you to do things that don't jive with your own sense of right and wrong, then maybe it's time to find a new job.

  • Keep the videos coming... this is a great social injustice and must be put to an end.

  • Great Job on the video!

  • Great video guys! Food is a right! Not a privilege!

  • Great video! Orlando Copwatch @3:15 and @10:45....make things easy for the detectives at the OPD. ;)
